I switched to a different character, entered one area, left the area was able to go into another area. In about 5 minutes after I went into the new area (Venus) I was d/ced with the code error Groundhog.

I just reset the router and I played 2 matches of crucible and went to the tower without issues. Gave the controller over to my friend to play so if no problems come up after she is done playing I'll let you know. So far I think reinstalling, then resetting the router has helped but only if you never had issues before the update possibly.

Yeah resetting the router and reinstalling did the trick for me. Hope you get through your networking issues asap!
