Disconnecting constantly
Hi all,
I am just curious as to whether anyone else has noticed that they are being continually disconnected. I played the game for a few hours and was disconnected seven times. It has really spoiled the experience, especially as I had just purchased the game today. I really did expect better for the price I paid. Anyway, if anybody has any fix suggestions that'd be much appreciated.
P.S. I have done the update.

I had the same problem but oddly enough not in the beta. Turned out my router's firewall was causing the problem and forwarding ([url=http://example.com]http://portforward.com[/url]) the Destiny ([url=http://example.com]http://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/11930[/url]) and PSN ([url=http://example.com]https://support.us.playstation.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/241/~/firewall-port-numbers-to-play-games-online[/url]) ports fixed it for me. I haven't been disconnected in over a week.

Ditto here on X1. tonight it is exclusively baboon with it booting me @ 5 mins or so - if I can get into anything. previous nights it worked for the most part although I did have an occasional disconnect. 0 packet loss 35 ms ping 125 MB/S Download, 11MB/S Upload

They need to fix their servers. I have done just about everything possible and this is the only game giving me issues. I understand it's just been released but they need to keep the community updated about the issues and roll out updates faster than this. Its annoying trying to play the game to be disconnected every 5-10 minutes.

yea I keep getting a Baboon error which really pisses me off and I just got a centipede error... weird..... P.S im not at a college I live at my own house away from ANY college

I get dc'ed mainly in the strike playlist. when we almost have the last boss down and I get dc'ed makes me never want to play this game again!

I get incessant "bee" error codes, usually 5 minutes into any Control matches in Crucible. Can't finish a bounty because of this. Insanely annoying.

i get kicked off as well, seeing errors like fly and lion, then the destiny cant find a server. they should fix it before they sell it

Yeah, my game was horrible tonight AFTER 9pm. Before 9pm, only pvp disconnected me. After though? I was losing connection non-stop to even PvE. Party chat 100% fine though.

my connection is usually fine, though i have been dropped for 1 or 2 crucible matches. but worse then that, I've been dropped from two strike missions riiiiight as we were about to kill the boss. once on earth and once on the moon. its infuriating because the bosses aren't even remotely fun and they just take forever to kill :\

this is THE worst problem. I cant't stay connected for any longer than ten minutes. always getting disconnected from Xbox live plus the error codes. Bungie is got to fix this

delete 2MB file and redownload it, thats what worked for me no problems yet.

Though at a more frequent level. i get about 1-10 minutes of gameplay, more recently 1-5min before being kicked. as for things to try. 1. open your NAT (if its not already on open) 2. port files. you have to go on your router an manually put in the files destiny says u need. You know cause bungie couldn't set up the game correctly to play online like every other game has..... (i dont have the link on hand but if you type in the error code you get it will take you to a place to do such things) 3. hard reset of router and Xbox1. 4. clearing cache, uninstalling game, and uninstalling profile then getting it all back. (haven't tried this one yet.) thats what i have heard and tried so far. so far I'm 0 for 3 good luck to you about this. If you do figure this out please let me know. my post has been ignored so far and I just want to let you know you're not alone. =D

Hey Adam I know how you feel. My NAT type is open and I've got port forwarding set up yet I still keep getting kicked. I'm even getting error messages saying my connection to the internet is down when I know it isn't. Really annoying when you've fought your way nearly to the end of a level or get dumped out of the crucible. When are Bungie going to acknowledge this problem and get a fix sorted? Yes, I've done the update too
