simple answer NO!! this is one thing that helped halo do so well was its motion tracker. take away the radar and it becomes another call of duty bs where you less then half the time dont even know where you're getting hit from. the radar helps you keep track of nearby enemies, allowing you to try and improve on getting kills through tactics and headshots, since this is actually a skill based shooter and not a twitch one like call of duty.
