Radar in PvP really only does couple things.
It promotes camping.
It does not allow the skilled to be separated from radar camper scrubs. A monkey could watch a radar screen and pull trigger when someone walks by.
Bungie, drop the radar in PvP and you will see the PvP flourish and not feel as cheap.

How the heck does people knowing where you are promote camping? It's funny that you say that watching the radar is a noob tactic, because I am seeing countless people get fragged because they WEREN'T looking at the Radar. It's like a MOBA, if you aren't paying attention to your map, you're going to get beaten down.
