Destiny is a prime example we don't see original games with success anymore.
True story.
Too many spoilt people who don't appreciate effort and small things and expect too much.
COD = been the same since it began. No complaints
Destiny = new game, one of a kind, different, everyone hates it.

The main problem : Destiny is misunderstanding. It's not and it will never be a solo game. Playing alone is too repetitive and too short.The feelings are different playing with friends. Bungie should have been more explicit about it (and bring real social mechanics into the Tower). I'm having a great group, but alone, you really have to be motivated.

Destiny is just a meh game and nothing original about it Plants vs Zombies Garden Warefare is a more original game and is a way better shooter. So is Wolfenstein, Metro Redux, Battlefield 4. Heck even Call of Duty Advance Warefare and Far Cry 4 look way better than Destiny.

I love this game, loved it since alpha. Sure I was a bit let down with the actual release but the core gameplay still sticks. What's even better? I'm half way decent at the PvP.

2 RepliesUnm dude destiny is boring, i mean it try so hard to be "new" but is not, this game borrows ideas from other game and smash them into one game. On top of that it lacks imagination!you see all mission are the same just in a different place, hell dude sometimes is in the same god dam place just different are.

Destiny is like Disneyworld.. everything looks nice and seems nice but is non functional.. and you cant interact.. its merely to look at.. and honestly i have not the slightliest clue why the havent even put small talk lines to the npc in the Tower.. everything looks sterile and plastic.. the vendors, the ships, the enemies, even the environment is nun movable.. you cant even shoot out lights... or use a flashlight in dark areas.. all you can do is: deploy ghost, shoot.. ride a vehicle.

Everything in destiny from Lore, to story to graphics to gameplay can be summerized in 4 games, Halo, Borderlands, Defiance, and warframe. There is really nothing new in destiny, it just does alot of things that other games do just a little better, and sometimes worse.

Both of which worked, as far as I know at least. I know some grizzled GameBattles players who ride and die with CoD getting to like this game, and I have some of my good friends from WoW enjoying the hell out of this game. The story is obviously underwhelming, there's references to places within the universe that I can only understand by going "Erm, I guess that place is the X of the Destiny world???" I don't really understand what the -blam!- the Awoken are and why Fallen just bow to that woman like it is child's play. I hope Raids make me forget about the cons of this game.

People complain about CoD all the time but it still gets supremely high reviews by gaming rags. That said I see why nobody takes risks anymore. Pacific Rim did poorly too. People don't like new IPs. Rather watch Grown Ups 2 and play Madden

2 RepliesFirst of all don't confuse the terrible cod releases we get now with the original series. Cod used to be the best shooter going modern warfare was amazing when it came out, and gave a nice change from shooting Germans and Russians in cod 1 and 2 But as normal when things go to the console world the greed sets in and then they just turn out any old rubbish. There is as others have said nothing ground breaking with destiny. It fails as an out and out shooter and it fails as an mmo. They tried to make a serious borderlands but didn't get it right. Having said that I still love it and have put in massive amounts of time into it. But it could and still can be better as long as they develop it more.

3 RepliesPeople aren't complaining that it is new, one of a kind (which it isn't), or different. They are complaining because it as a weak, at best, story line, no true diversity in armor or weapons, and it led everybody on with empty promises. I do like the game but in the future they need to work on storyline, complete diversity in armor and weapons (such as weapon mechanics), and game modes. You have badass spaceships which are pointless except to have something to look at between planets. Make space missions and battles. I do really like, however the fact that your character looks the same as how you dress them in cinematics and multiplayer gameplay.

Would it help if I said I loved it and touch myself inappropriately to it every night? It's a great original concept, some things to iron out and a little more end-game to work out. Something more than PvP and redoing PvE.
