PvE and what we're upset about.

Let me make this clear, I'm talking about the lack of PvE content in Destiny. Lack of bigger map size, storyline progression, the number of available strikes, and anything else that PvE should require in a game like this. After playing Destiny for a while, I'm disappointed at the amount of content that is available to us. At lvl 20 --- Sure there's grinding that needs to be done and lots a PvP we can all queue for but aside from that - I'm the kind of player that really enjoys PvE............which is why, and I'm sure I'm speaking for a majority of us, I'm really really disappointed in the PvE progression. It was too quick to end on Mars...because after that - the game turned into a PvP game........for you PvP buffs, you may like it, but PvE is the foundation and to find that the story progress was short lived...is bothering. It's fine to have PvE content unfold over time which lots of games do, but here in Destiny - I paid for 3 planets and a moon?!?! That's like the free version of WoW leveling to 20....and the PvE content in that is so much more than that of Destiny currently. Anyone would smh about this.....seriously. I challenge you to play the free version of WoW - level to 20 and compare map size, content, instances, story content, etc...to the current game that is Destiny and you'd feel disgusted....for those who have played wow ... go look at the map of Outland...map version looks like the Moon, you step into Outland and you know its 20x- 40x bigger and PvE content is 30x bigger...you get the idea...and here in Destiny it's - well...dainty..small...etc... You feel let down...At least I do..and WoW has all the PvE/PvP content and Destiny has too with minor first person differences...For crying outloud, the maps on Destiny are so small, I can get from one end of the map to the other end and still make it back to the beginning before my flight route from WoW Netherstorm to Shadowmoon Valley ends....That's so pathetic. Here's an example, WoW takes 1 year or 1 1/2 years to develop an expansion which is an entirely different world with amass amount of PvE and PvP content which is all available upon release with additional patches/updates overtime (unfoldings to PvE/PvP) whereas, the same amount of time and efforts Bungie put into making Destiny only to have a small portion available to us upon release with updates overtime - well, there is an obviously huge difference here. WoW's storyline is continuous - you only need to level to reach the next part of the story. In Destiny, even if I'm done farming and grinding - I can't raid...or do things I want to do in the game because it's not available to us. Same can go for WoW, but WoW has many things I can do immediately that satisfies my thirst for wanting more and even talking about endgame content, WoW has endgame content released immediately and then they add more endgame content as they go...Which I guess means, Destiny lacks endgame content for those who want it immediately as well.....This unfolding over time for this isn't working if they can't keep us preoccupied with PvP and a lack of PvE story, especially for those who prefer PvE over PvP. There is one post on here where one person pondered about exactly how much of the game did we purchase exactly - and maybe we did in fact purchase an enormous amount of content that we should all be extremely happy about, yet not having that content available to us immediately like how WoW is structured makes me unhappy about the game. You may be thinking - This isn't an MMO. I know this is not labeled as an MMO. But hell, maybe Bungie should have gone about it on the scale of an MMO to get the kind of succeeding qualities we really expected Destiny to be. 10 years is a long contract and this isn't a good start for them. I want some discussion about this. I feel this could help Bungie out in terms of restructuring their content and how it should be released...I demand justice for their lack of PvE because once you cap at 20, it'll become a PvP game...You should demand justice too, it's your game as well. Bump This!

  • It's not an MMO. It's a new type of game if you don't understand and doesn't like it , then stop playing it. End of story . WoW is just ten years old and awful. Destiny isn't an mmo, because you don't play in 16 players sessions, the very fondation of the first M in MMO so stop compare with wow, return to you're world of cheap graphism. Good night and thank you for coming here.
