Every special does this.. And kills things in one shot. My main is a hunter but have played all 3. If you're at all decent at the game you'd know that dodging the hunters blade is Easy. They can only lunge straight. So time it right and side step out of the way haha. I have killed many other hunters this way.. I find titans more op. And I can say this because I've played all classes.. Hunter is most well balanced out of the three. Sorry you and or your friends can't handle one hunter. Maybe you guys should have someone be a hunter in a game and just keep practicing killing him while he's on his special lol.

 • Get outta here dude. The rest of you too with the "its so easy" to kill. I don't think hunters' powers are OP but they are lame af. Hunter is the only class where you can get triple kills blindfolded both in objective and deathmatch style gamemodes. Yea its so easy to kill on all these close quarter maps where dudes sprint for half a second and stab you.

 • I'm sorry to say it.. But the truth tells itself. You must not be that well skilled in crucible...? What about the titans super lol? If you hid behind a wall or corner or even up a hill behind a corner, it still kills you. I know for when a hunter is after you, you can use corners to move past and dodge the lunges etc. just practice and get better at the game before complaining.

 • I have seen blade dancers take a full clip from three people and end up with over half their shields remaining. Every other class status just as easy to kill midway through their animation. Blade Dancers are nearly invincible through theirs. On tonight's Salvage mission I kept going up against one guy who would repeatedly team wipe myself and everyone else even when he was the only guy alive, in full view of all of us. It's ridiculous.

 • How exactly are you killing the bladedancers? I sidestepped earlier and ended up point blank shooting him with a shotgun, only to take about 50% of his shields out. That's my only issue, that they seem to turn into a bullet sponge.

 • So your complaint is that the low armored character with a melee super gets a 50% damage reduction to make it even remotely viable? Learn to play dude. You play a TITAN. The invulnerable, melee-insta-kill through walls/floors, class.

 • I don't use shoulder charge, and I get killed all the time while using fist of havoc. I'm just saying the defense boost during bladedancer is unfair.

 • Then you're playing wrong. Titan has frames of invulnerability, launches themselves forward, gains THE SAME damage reduction, and instant kills an entire area with their super.

 • Shoulder charge is a different move altogether, and I do play with the unstoppable perk for fist of havoc, and I still die while using it left and right. why don't you try the class before you trash it. I've no problem with the hunter class, I just noticed how large of a damage reduction bladedancers receive, making it very hard to kill them, them add in how much faster they move, and your screwed.

 • I've played Titan. My friend IS a titan and doesn't run into any of that. He's been killed mid-super exactly 3 times, meaning it's failed him less than 1% of the time.

 • Maybe I'm just unlucky, I'm simply trying to point out that a point blank shotgun shot only does 25% damage of total health to a bladedancer. Which seems rather inadequate to me, I'm not asking for an insta kill, I just think it should do more damage.

 • It wouldn't be a super if you can just kill him with a shotgun you know what I mean

 • I'm not asking for insta kill, just more damage. But if that's what makes it super, then the warlock and titan supers are underpowered.

 • That is sooo not true! Both supers are aoe and warlocks can have it do dmg over time I have both hunter and warlock and dude I have killed more ppm with locks super then bladedanc

 • But you can get killed while trying to do your ult. So by your logic they are underpowered. I'm messing with you. Like I said bladedancers ought to take more damage in my opinion, considering how fast they can move, how much their shields are buffed makes it alot tougher to kill one.

 • Try a better shotgun honestly. Or try 1/2 shots and a melee. Crucible weapons deal damage based on the "impact" rating, so find a shotgun with an increased impact/range upgrade. Also, jump. A lot. They can't attack up into the air, only down from the air. When they blade dance they go into third person view and can't look all the way up very well. If you're a warlock, blink erratically like a psycho, they WILL lose track of where you are.

 • Hunters can to attack up with Arc Blade. The vertical range may not be the same as a double jump, but it is there.

 • Ok, that actually helps alot, haven't played a hunter but that explains the ability quite a bit more. I'll have to try it out, thx.

 •
Ok, that actually helps alot, haven't played a hunter but that explains the ability quite a bit more. I'll have to try it out, thx.
i play as a blade dancers and almost never die to to other ones do to actually knowing how the class works instead of pointless rants so ill give you my 2 cents. First thing you need to know is how the energy system works. When ever you hit r2 to stab/slash you lose a chunk of energy. That means that if they dash 3 times for a kill, their 15 sec super becomes 10(random numbers but you get the idea) People who try to shoot bladedancers all ready lost. His moments are too erratic to get headshots and w/o head shots he isnt going to die damage reduction aside. When you shoot him, youre rooted and an easy 1 dash kill so he wastes little energy. Now if your in the air, yes he can kill you but his dashes are blind and random so they take 3-4 dashes to actually hit someone but his super bar drains too quick. Wrap that all up, when you see a bladedancer, dont shoot. Just jump backwards, doing a little bunny hop and pop him in the face with a shotgun. If the super ends, hell be extremely disoriented and. Free kill. If he goes for you first, you'll probably die because guess what, its a super, but if you do that right he is going to run out of energy and notdo anything else. 1 kill super =/= op. When it comes to grouped up teams, of coarse he will get a triple or a quad, but guess what EVER CLASS IN THE GAME COULD WITH THERE SUPER IN THAT SITUATION. stop complaining about op and learn to play to your classes strengths and your opponents weaknesses.
