Its funny that this post has given me more information as to what may be going on than anything Bungie has released...
Thanks, mate.

Yeah no kidding

I agree.

This actually makes a lot of sense. It would be nice to hear from them. Bungie needs to take a lesson from Blizzard as far as being transparent when there are issues and constant communication through the forums (I'm talking about Diablo 3 in particular).

Amen to the Bliz comment. Although it was a rough start for Bliz, but they where quickly educated on how to communicate... even thou I got banned from their forums in the first month of release of Diablo3 for revering to Skidrow and having them hack the game to be made playable offline so that people won't go mad when servers don't work... (this was with release of Diablo3 on PC)

I think keeping everything so hush hush for such a long time and the added mythos of the game permeating every aspect of their lives has made it difficult deej and others to just say "out of character. This this and this are whacked. These are people who might have problems. This username will be posting updates as soon as anything is confirmed." (Person in charge of handling said problem) It's nice to role play but when real life issues pop up just speak normally so people can understand what's going on. Maybe have them run their updates by someone's grandmother so they can ask all the most basic questions about what they are trying to say because obviously someone at bungie isn't doing that for people who no clue about how the game works.
