It's more of a shared world fps. And it definitely does have mmo qualitys and that's what I think gets people. Lots of fps players don't play mmo's

Also. Complaining about the campaign being too short is ridiculous. You think those people would have watched the final cutscene where the girl said that it was just the beginning. Also, if they paid any sort of attention to the Moon missions, they would be asking who was it that she was talking to when she brought us to Venus? They also would have known that Destiny will have DLC campaign missions.

There is NO bitterness in what I'm about to say... Bungie is not in it for the accolades, this is their job and they need to make their money somehow. I'm grabbing my season pass tonight honestly.

It's alright I was calling it an mmo as well and it kinda is so no biggy :p

The main point I was trying to make and possibly failed is that the storyline length on a game like Destiny shouldn't be where the value is primarily judged.
