Did you require a bungie account to play the beta? No so once you play the beta that specific GT/PSN ID is flagged for the emblem but if you played on 360 and went to PS4 you would not get the emblem if you went from PS3 to Xbox one you would not get the emblem (progress transfers back and forth between console families ex: 360-one and PS3-PS4)

Correct. The emblem is linked to your console account. Not your Bnet account. Other codes work differently. If things don't work as you expect on at launch please create a new thread in #help with details and them be patient. :D

It was confirmed in one of the weekly updates and mentors (voluntary b.net members that only give official information to help others in #help) also confirm that this is true

Honestly a link would be a lifesaver in these situations, as I only remember them talking about the emblem not "moving" if you unlink & then relink a new account. At any rate, I just found an old post be a Bungie member that agrees with your information. Thanks for the help, although it may be wise to give a direct link for future situations like this.

This. Rewards for participating in the Destiny beta are associated with the gamertag/PSN i.d. that played the beta, and are limited to that gamertag/PSN i.d. They cannot be transferred between services, regardless of whether or not the accounts are associated with your bungie.net profile.
