First multiplayer and now the Elites.
If this collection actually sells, I might as well as start making crappy games in the future because it would prove that ANYTHING sells now.

With that post you bring shame to that avatar.

This avatar represents Halo 2. Not Halo 2 anniversary, so no. It doesn't bring shame to it or anything for that matter. And I'm not going to sit here and argue about it either.
-
It isn't a crappy game. It still has the original Halo 2 multiplayer, Halo 3, Halo 4 and Halo CE (for the frst time ever with inline multiplayer) as well as this version. If you don't like the H2A multiplayer then play Halo CE, 2 or 3 multiplayer. Also there's a lot of hype over this game, it's bringing the Halo community back. Hopefully the Halo 5 beta will get everything sorted put so Halo 5 isn't a piece of shit.

Edited by Decimator Omega: 9/4/2014 7:21:08 PM
It still has the original Halo 2 multiplayer
Oh really? I don't ever recall the Assault Rifle in the Original game. Oh that's right, it was never there. It's not the Original Multiplayer. If it was, you'd be able to easily tell. The multiplayer build is made from scratch with The Halo 4 engine or has elements of The Halo 4 engine, which destroys any form of originality. Don't believe me? Just watch the video I provided. 343 doesn't care. If they did, they would have actually ported the real multiplayer engine, not create a new one from thin air. If you fail to actually acknowledge this, then all hope is lost because I just ran across another fanboy that doesn't know the difference between what Halo 2 is and what this new bullshit is. The only thing that actually is being ported is the campaign. That right there is Halo 2! The multiplayer..... Not even close!
You really haven't been paying any attention whatsoever for the past several months, have you? There are 2 Halo 2 multiplayer's: the Anniversary edition, which is a directors cut of all the things Halo 2 couldn't have, and Halo 2 Classic, which has every DLC map for Halo 2 (as well as the 3 other multiplayer for CE, 3, and 4, also with all DLC). This was literally the first thing they announced how do you not know this?

I had to link the E3 reveal because he kept arguing.

I replied with that, but didn't link the picture.

And that is why it was my reaction to this thread lol.

Edited by diggnURgrave: 9/4/2014 7:26:10 PMThe video you linked is the Halo 2 Anniversary multiplayer. The Master Chief Collection has the Halo 2 Anniversary multiplayer and the original Halo 2 multiplayer, with original graphics and everything. The Halo 2 Annoversary multiplayer is only six remastered maps. The Halo 2 multiplayer on MCC will have all of the original maps and the only difference is the 1080p 60FPS.
The Master Chief Collection has the Halo 2 Anniversary multiplayer and the original Halo 2 multiplayer, with original graphics and everything.
Got any proof of that?

Go to 5:00 and listen.

Edited by ROBERTO jh: 9/4/2014 7:35:40 PMhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IZ6NMhyga9Q 5:12 They have said this every time they talk about it. "Now Halo 2's multiplayer was special for a lot of reasons and we wanted to keep that intact so Halo 2 Anniversary will contain the original Halo 2 multiplayer exactly as it shipped 10 years ago." Later they went on to clarify that it'll be post-TU Halo 2.

THEY'VE SAID IT IN EVERY -blam!-ING PANEL YOU DENSE MUTHER-blam!-ER.
THEY'VE SAID IT IN EVERY -blam!-ING PANEL YOU DENSE MUTHER-blam!-ER.
That's not proof. I'll need evidence of them confirming that or visual evidence of that actually existing.
-
Go to 5:00 like I said in my other comment.
-
Let's hope they don't end up cutting it off then. 343 finally got their noggins working. Too bad I'm not getting it either way because I don't own an Xbone and I wouldn't get an Xbone for one game.
-
Let's hope they don't end up cutting it off then.
They won't. The reshipping of all 4 games at 60FPS 1080p is the biggest selling point of this collection, over 100 multiplayer maps are in this game, I'm not even entirely sure it'll be mechanically possible for them to cut it out now given that its already coded into the game. The maps we have been seeing are apart of the Halo 2 Anniversary multiplayer, 6 specially selected remakes for a 5th unique multiplayer engine. All 100 of the OG maps for all 4 games are still there.
-
They aren't going to cut it because having Halo 2 back on console, online, is one biggest draws to the game. And the game is just over two months from release. You are handicapped.
-
Edited by ROBERTO jh: 9/4/2014 7:38:01 PMI just showed you a video.
Halo: The Master Chief Collection features curated campaign and multiplayer playlists across all four games and features more than 100 multiplayer maps -- authentic to their original release. In addition, Halo 2 Anniversary includes six all-new maps built from the ground up for Xbox One.
http://www.ign.com/games/halo-the-master-chief-collection/xbox-one-20018413
