Well.. Study finds women are actually safer drivers than men. She was just a stupid bitch on a phone. " the male propensity for aggression and risk taking, fueled by testosterone, is to blame. Men, experts say, are more likely to drink and take drugs while driving, to avoid wearing seat belts, to speed and even to choose a smaller gap to turn through across oncoming traffic."
[]“It has to do with our motherly instincts,” said Amy Forgione, 35, a driver for 19 years. Men, she said, feel above the rules. “They feel like they control the road, that they own the road.”
Talk about a sexist generalisation... Also... As this quote points out, these studies are hardly valid:
The high crash rate for men may be skewed because men account for about 61 percent of the miles driven in the country, though the gap is narrowing, federal highway statistics show. Increased driving adds to both the proficiency of the driver and the risk of getting into an accident, Ms. McCartt said.
• One more article and then I'm done. I'm not going to argue. Majority of the articles/studies I found supported the fact that men were more reckless, involved in more fatal crashes and speeding offences. No one is the perfect driver.

  • That's why the insurance coverage for men is always higher. These sexist stereotypes are backwards.

Gotta love your logic. If it's discrimination against men, it's okay... But if it were women- you'd be up in arms. You call everyone else sexist, but in reality you are as bad, if not worse than them. Pathetic. You want to reap all of the benefits of so called "equality" without taking on any of the less than idea items that go along with it. Case and point- if I were to post a study showing that women have a higher tendency to be obese then men, and therefore ought to pay substantially higher taxes to cover the healthcare- you, and every other pseudo-feminist (note the specific group I am highlighting) out there would cry discrimination because the world is obviously out to get you. You need to either take the side of equality in all of its forms, the good AND the bad- or just stop bitching about sexism and inequality altogether. If you actually gave a damn about equality- you would say any one group of people paying more than another based on "correlations" of a specific sex, or race is complete crap- and instead cost should be dependent solely on the record of the individual driver (or person in the case of obesity).

What the hell does my comment have to do with equality or feminism. It's a fact that men's insurance is higher than woman's. that's because men are more likely to make reckless decisions. So when people say "oh women are such bad drivers" and you have men with the higher insurance because its been proven they make poor decisions, of course ill say it's backwards. You guys act like men don't talk or text on the phone. Edit: it's not discrimination btw. If an insurance company charges male drivers more because they require more coverage, then they charge more. It's straight forward. Not discrimination. God you whine about my logic when a slice of bread makes more sense than you.

  • Yet insurance for me is $2800 a year when I have not gotten a single ticket or been in a single accident. Yay for discrimination against teenage boys.

  • Insurance for teenage boys will always be high. You might not get into an accident but the higher rates you pay, balance out to make up for the loses the company has because of other teenage boys who get in accidents. My cousin lost two friends because they stole their parents car and totalled it for street racing. Is street racing more common around teenage boys or teenage boys?
i know lots of teenage girls who don't even get their license so obviously more claims will be made by the bigger group with licenses.
As I expected- completely absent to anything that could remotely be considered rational thought. Well done, you didn't disappoint.

  • Don't expect much of a show- I know where this is going and I haven't the brain cells to kill to justify reading and responding to whatever shite logic she comes up with to justify how inequity for men is equality for women.
I know, it's really quite sad that there are a group of people supposedly fighting for a certain cause that they clearly understand nothing about. If they want to call it women's superiority- fine- I'll just laugh and move on- but don't call it a fight for equality when it is anything but that.
