Edited by nao: 9/2/2014 6:02:29 AMThe trailer is meant to be cryptic. Part of the charm. Most of the hype is because the previous games, especially the last one, were so good. So if you haven't played those you probably won't get the full effect. P5 was previously announced as a PS3 exclusive. Which a lot of the newer persona fans don't have since Persona 4 Golden, on Vita, drew in a lot of new people to the series. So, the fact that its now coming out on PS4 also is kinda a big deal. Atlus is known for staying on old hardware way past its intended lifetime and that gets frustrating. The last mainline game (Persona 4) came out on PS2 in 2008.

Oh that's cool. I've never played any of them so I don't know what there about and that trailer didn't show anything. Clearly though PS fans know. I'm guessing JRPG?

Yea JRPG. Its kinda a mix of Final Fantasy, Pokemon, Scooby Doo, and Anime. Usually has really well written characters.

Well that sounds different. On a side note, we need a Scooby Doo RPG
