I kinda feel this is geared toward Bible Bashing...though I have known some families to be this strict before. Had a Neighbor gal friend of my sisters who couldn't see harry potter cus it had witches in it. Far be it from me to tell parents how to raise their kids but plenty of examples have shown that if you funnel them too much, once they come of age...the damn is broken so to speak far beyond their expectations. Moderation is Everything. Parents have to be respondsible. Its good the Dad (if this is real) did his research...shows he's actually involved. And I can understand the "No Devil" at all bit too as in truth this word still has much context around those who believe one belief or another. So for that argument, there really is none. The pokemon bit is a bit far though, in my opinion, but again, not my kid, never my call. All parents can do is take their best guess at raising kids, heck, I myself couldn't watch the Simpsons til I was 13 (I snuck over to a friends house a few times though ;)). But my Dad took me to violent movies eventually & my Mom bought me Twisted Metal when I was 12-14, I think. Moderation, respondsibility, involvement....this is what our country needs in its parents...and watch how it changes our kids, our future.
