Edit: I was right
Not more than 16 hours after Raids have been released, they're already beaten
https://mobile.twitter.com/Bungie/status/511972115776425984
Streamer house beat it in two hours :P
I have yet to play the raids but I'll update this again when I do
Can't wait to see everyone's reactions when they beat the raids in an hour
Honesty it's not that hard
It's just point and shoot
I literally can't find another thing raids would have so unless you suck at pointing and shooting, you're set
I mean 7 hours for a raid?
Really?
We all know that's not going to happen
I doubt it's take 1:3O hours
2 at the most
Remember the Strikes?
How big of a deal that use to be?
And then everyone came in and beat it in 3O minutes
It's pathetic seeing these threads on how big of a deal raids are
And even if they are somehow 7 hours, what the -blam!- is the point of shooting stuff for 7 hours
Throw in a couple puzzles like that disappearing platform thing in the trailer and put in different enemies but in the end, it's the same
No one wants to spend the majority of 7 hours just shooting at stuff
It gets boring and repetitive
Plus
The only way that it's going to be that hard is to make the bosses almost unkillable and that's not good for the sake of difficulty
Just making you out more bullets into enemies doesn't equal more fun
Is rather have a shorter more fun raid than a long drawn out one
Bungie even said in the weekly update that the time that it took the clans to finish the raids were exaggerated
I have no doubt it'd be fun but I just wish Bungie would stop hyping up parts of their game
Just give it to us face value
-
Despite what bungie has said, you know there will be someone done with the game on 9/12. He'll just be standing in the tower with all his end game raid drops.
-
Edited by NeoMorph WTH: 8/30/2014 3:13:11 PMBungie also said of the two teams that made it to the last boss... nobody beat it. NOBODY. Now there is one reason that may be right... They only had teams of FOUR when the Raids are set for SIX players. Not enought firepower on target maybe? We will know in a few weeks though... <---bold stuff is WRONG!!!! (I misread... skimming too fast lol). One thing did pop out though... When Deej's group took 45 minutes to get in the front door Luke Smith said....
Sounds like that group (it was DeeJ’s!) had some communication issues. For the majority of Raid encounters, you're going to need to work as a group. That group of six is trying to form a metaphorical key which opens a given encounter's lock.
... which sounds like it's more than shooting to get through the raid.

Love the troll. Just in case real, you are the most narrow minded, unimaginative, ignorant person i've ever seen having proof of knowing how to post a forum topic. Your mind will be blown into bits, and you will be left drooling, picking them up off the floor as you mutter things like "glitched" and "impossible" under your breath. You will be unable to sleep at night, your friends will ignore you, and the rest of us desticles will be basking in the glory of that which is Destiny.
-
Not sure if you're joking or not but i do love shooting stuff for seven hours, and so do others. There is a lot more strategy than point and shoot to any fps so you kinda sound ignorant
-
And also you're talking like you know what the raids gonna be like "all it is going to be is pointing and shooting throw in some puzzles" dam bro did u make the game sounds like you know everything about it
-
So hard to care.
-
Let me get a movie ticket and a few beers and then I'll come back and laugh at you.
-
Beat it in 2 hours and upload it via youtube or imgur ;p
-
Edited by Cardinal Erebus: 8/30/2014 6:57:16 AM1 HOUR HAHAHAHAHA I would present some information to you about raids but then i realized your stupidity is to infinity and beyond.
-
I'll give you $2000 if you can beat it in 2 hours.
you won't. At least for awhile.
-
Edited by NinjaCoby: 8/30/2014 5:51:22 AMIf Bungie said it will be a horrific test then it will be exactly that. So if they say its very hard it will be very hard. Just like the Halo Vidmasters that Endure took forever and was very hard but I still was able to get it when I got the right FireFight team. So if you have a good team maybe but from your comment you don't seem so deserving to be in a good team.
-
I find this funny because they said strikes would take about 30 minutes to complete.
-
Honesty it's not that hard It's just point and shoot I literally can't find another thing raids would have so unless you suck at pointing and shooting, you're set
Platforming, puzzle solving, divergent objectives, unmarked objectives, unique enemies, and multiple bosses are all things raids have.

-blam!-en piece if shit just die and make the world better
-
I'll come back. Update this when the raid whoops your sorry ass lol
-
Note to OP: It's funny how you know all this,so how many Destiny Raids have you done now? Note to everyone else: As Bungie has pointed out, many times,it will take about 6 hours to succesfully complete a Raid on Hard setting but you will have to complete it on Normal mode before the Hard mode is unlocked and a Normal mode Raid will be harder than any other game activity in Destiny. Also you don't have to try to complete it in one sitting as it will save your progress at various points. Final Note: Concerning the monument for the first team to complete the Raid,Bungie has stated that it will only be the first team that completes the Raid on Hard mode that gets the honour. ps. i've sourced all my info from offical statements/vids from Bungie on this site and also various Bungie interviews on YouTube. Note to Self: Don't play with Ingloriouswho98 on Raids as they will be the 1st player to drop-out,complaining that the Raid is taking to long and so fcuking it up for everyone else. Good luck everyone, see you soon. : ) pps. sorry for any spelling mistakes etc i really can't be bothered to proof read my post. lol
-
Wow bro, your kd must be over 9000
-
Lets all point and laugh at the OP.
-
Edited by alentjano: 8/30/2014 9:08:21 AMlol bungie has posted in the new weekly update everything they would like to share about the raids they gonna have a weekly reset and once u know how to play the raids its gonna take u 45 min on normal they finaly posted something about the raids so stop speculating and just read the latest weekly update
-
Somebody never raided before... Op *cough* raiding is for dedicated players more so than casuals
-
It gets boring and receptive
Receptive huh. You can't even focus enough to correctly type out a forum post. How do you expect to beat a raid that takes timed execution.
-
1 hour? Watch me do it in 30minutes.
-
no one wants to spend the majority of 7 hours shooting at stuff
So many things wrong with that sentence.
-
1. No waypoints: Not a big deal for a lot of people, but just having no waypoints will make it harder for some people. 2. Raids don't tell you what to do: God, in the weekly update it said Deej took 45 minutes just to open the damn thing (it shouldn't take that long if you have good communication) 3. Communication and Roles: If even one of your teammates doesn't play their role or you don't communicate, you will fail.
-
All i see are idiots thinking all you do in the Raids is shoot. HAHAHAHHAHAHA I am going to love it when you assholes come back saying it's too hard and the enemies need to be nerfed.
