Take 3 things with you to a remote island before WW3.
[b]Context:[/b]
- The government has chosen to preserve you before the nuclear destruction of the world.
- The island has an unlimited supply of drinking water
- The island is only populated by non-venomous wildlife
- There is a large supply of edible fruit and vegetables available
- The weather on Island is +25 degrees Celsius during the day and +17 degrees Celsius during the night. It rains once a week.
- Once you are there, no person can get to the Island.
[b]Rules:[/b]
- You can only take three things with you.
- You may bring people (Each person can bring three things with them)
- Maximum Island population at once: 15 people.
- After you land on the Island, the whole world is destroyed by atom bombs and is full of deadly radiation levels for at least 3 years.
- You get only one chance to decide what you take. If the government rejects your package, they will give you a default survival kit - [A life vest, a whistle and a protein bar]

They would probably choose the most genetically superior individuals to reproduce with. I wouldn't mind having a designated mate. As long as she was mine and mine alone, and vice versa, I would be just fine with it. Who wouldn't want to be stranded on an island with someone you are literally supposed to [u]f[/u]uck the brains out of and make babies with. I would probably bring an ultra-durable tablet with thousands of books downloaded onto it, a solar charger for the said tablet, and my glasses. Hopefully the government would provide a means of transportation off the island for when the radiation dies out, survival materials so that the inhabitants may survive, and a stable government system to follow. One that wouldn't be vulnerable to mutiny of any kind.. If they didn't, what the hell kind of preserving of humanity were they trying to accomplish?

3 RepliesI'd bring Zone-Tan. Then my chain would go like this, Zone brings Shadbase, Spazkid, and a blow torch. Shadbase would bring gasoline, matches and a bucket Spazkid would bring a shovel, rope, and a metal pole. I would bring (since you didn't say what we couldn't bring) a genie to grant me wishes And a gun with a full clip. So I Can kill all three of them I would then have the genie grant me 2 wishes: "After each day for 16 days, when I kill them they, are resurrected with full memory of who killed them" "I wish my pistol clip re filled after each day as well" Id kill all three of them every day for 16 days while they are fully aware of why I'm doing it. It would be cool.

I assume things that fit in your pockets and clothing items aren't on the list because they're easy to take in? Or do I have to take up my entire list with a short sleeve/leg swimsuit, a Swiss Army knife and a pair of hiking boots?

Medical supplies. 2. A boat loaded with enough fuel to last for weeks. 3. His/Her spouse. His/her spouse: 1. Hunting equipment. 2. A crate of wire and other makeshift building materials. 3. Toothbrushes and toothpaste for everyone. We all reproduce, forming a community of survivors and using the supplies and materials to expand our community across the island. The boat is there in case anyone wants to scout out the wastes, see if there are actually super mutants or if the other parts of the world are livable. And this is assuming, of course, WW# happens far off in the future after my family has already lived full lives, otherwise I would have taken them.

It's 9.85GB compressed, and 44GB uncompressed.) 2. A solar charger that will also last a long time. 3. A LOT of metal. (Scrap, sheet, small bits, I-beams, whatever.) I guess the other people can bring whatever they want. Maybe they'll bring penicillin or something. I figure with all the information from Wikipedia we'll be able to accelerate the rebuilding of the world substantially.
