I think we are sick and tired of them complaining that all games need to be made for there needs
don't get me wrong I enjoy pvp as much as the next person I just don't care for the mlg try hards calling my nephew a fag and a loser and telling him to kill him self he is 7 and just wanted to play games with me so yes I have a reason to hold distain for members of mlg

Most MLG guys I know are respectful to kids unless your nephew started talkin shit and callin them bad when they were wrecking him and what do you expect the game states "online interactions not rated by the esrb" so if you don't like it don't let him play.

No real pros would b playing agianst a 7 year old... i seen pros in pubs once n my team got spanked in halo 50-7 n i tried to not get spawn wreaked n ended u with only 5 kills

Both casual and competitive players can be nice, or come down with a bad case of Asshat Syndrome. Just ignore the people who have it and enjoy the game. Chances are those people are not even actual MLG. 99% of the time it's some kid who bought the game with his parent's money and had a good game that one time I swear don't look at my k/d and now thinks they are MLG. Either way your 7 year old should not be playing Destiny. It may not be a M-rated game, but even T-rated is still too high for him. Their is a reason why the ESRB includes the little disclaimers that say "Online Interactions not rated". Also while I'm here, MLG was pretty much made on the Halo franchise, AKA Bungie games.

I love how people think Destiny can be a eSport. Look at the rules and regulations for CoD for competitive gameplay. Certain weapons and perks are off limits, kill streaks are limited. Now apply that to Destiny, which has a skill tree, rated gear/weapons, and abilities. For it to be truly "competitive" it has to be limited to an extreme degree. Only certain skills allowed, certain rated gear and weapons, and possibly certain classes broken down into tiers. There are too many variables within the gameplay. It would hinder the game, rather then help it. The reason Halo was so big in MLG was that everything was level at the start of the game with power weapons spawning.

20 Replies1) 7 year olds shouldn't be playing this game. It is NOT rated E. 2) MLG members bring a lot to a gaming community. Publicity, hype, skilled gameplay, and usually help increase the average skill level of most other players. 3) The best way to know the difference between something being OP or not is professional players. They all have a very high skill level (usually capped or close) and if a weapon or item is dominating too much on a professional scene this lets the gaming company know it needs to be looked at. 4) The MLG taking interest in this game translates almost directly to a higher quality of gameplay in most cases I've seen. These points are assuming you aren't a troll. There are a LOT of cool MLG players. They aren't all "wannabe badass tryhards" as you're trying to make them seem. I also feel like your attitude is probably worse than the MLG players.

There's no way that they most offensive players online are the ones getting paid to play. It is also a contradiction to be upset over being matched with "MLG" players but still feel happy that there are no custom games for them to play in.

Destiny needs not those writhing things, there's many a reason the vast majority of the gaming community has punted the corrupted filth that is CoD. Sure it may be the franchise's 3 devs that have absorbed countless others restricting all creative freedom from the devs (Guitar Hero as of most recent.) not only in that act alone as well as ridiculous deadlines expanded only by adding a third dev. I'm much more disgusted rather not by the money hungry business practice as I am the maggots that have entombed every case.
