So the raid at launch, a group needs 5 or more friends. Is there a certain reward for everyone that plays or a reward for the group?

I'm not exactly sure about how the reward works, but I assume that it is a reward for everyone? But that's just my guess. We'll have to find out when the game comes, or in the build up.

Yes I agree, it seems a bit strange that they have this one categorized game type on the very first day, I feel like it would seem the system would be a little slow...

If that was the case, some people could be playing the raid over a hundred times to try and get the loot that it comes with, which, from what I've personally seen, doesn't seem like the way Bungie'd go in terms of loot and your progression outwards

That makes more sense, we'll have to experience to really judge the game though, positively or negatively. Btw I'm going to follow you, it seems like you're someone who knows what they're talking about when it comes to this game, and bungie's servers in general. :)

Haha thanks :D I just try my best to keep up to dated with Destiny, seeing as Bungie is the one game company that I will be fully devoted to. Speaking of Servers, Bungie stated in a tweet that as soon as you get Destiny, wherever you are in the world, You'll be able to play it at 12am, September 9th. There were some debate around this, whether the servers would turn on at 12am PDT or EST or AEST, but Bungie did say that it will be on, so people who got the game early will be able to play it first.
