So I'm currently an xbox 360 player. I know that one day, probably nearer to Christmas time, I will be upgrading to a next gen console. I've had my heart set on the PS4 for some time but now, due to Destiny, I've had my head turned towards the Xbone only because of the ability to transfer my Destiny account from 360 to Xbone.
I know the first DLC in December will be for all consoles but after that I'm pretty sure they'll only be available for next gen.
So here's my question. Do I opt for the Xbone for the ability to transfer or do I go for the PS4 and start all over again but enjoy the bonus of timed exclusives?

I just switched from 360 to PS4. No regrets. The only thing that gets under my skin is I still need to use my 360 to use media files on my TV. I've already had multiple times where I've wanted to look at my personal media, wedding pics etc and thought, "thanks Sony!" Other than that, it's awesome, the only xbox exclusive I want is an arcade title by The Behemoth, lol.

If you're conscerned about transferring the save I'd say the xbox one. I'm a ps4 user myself, but in your case I'd get the one. Happy gaming!

Consider cost, games, graphics, user friendliness, and the controllers. :)
-
Whichever one you like more. It truly is pointless to ask this question here.

Edited by Kinzoku: 8/25/2014 4:49:34 PMThe timed exclusives are nothing to choose a console over. Just a mp map, strike mission, armor for each class, a primary and a special weapon, which you will probably get better armor in no time. I would choose by what your irl friends chose or by exclusives. Which console has games coming out that you want to play? That is how you should choose your next gen console.

What makes you think they will stop support for the previous generation only months after release? There has never been anything said to suggest that after the 1st dlc they won't release more on 360. I'm in the same boat as you as I'll be upgrading Dec/Jan from 360, and because of this I'll be moving to XB1 so I don't lose months of progress. So since you're on 360 I vote XB1 to keep your progress.

It's ultimately your decision...I personally prefer my Xbox One over my PS4. Very cool Device. Yesterday, I made my Step-Dad rage at my Xbox as he tried to cycle through the dashboard, I was selecting random things from my phone. If I were you, I would just get a PS4 though, if it's what you want.

Go XB1 and slowly save your pennies for a PS4 to get in time for No Man's Sky (likely still a good year or more out)

Etch-a-scetch FTW...
-
The one where you have most friends.

Just trasfered my Diablo 3 characters to xbox one. AWESOME....

I moved to One because of friends etc. However, the one has so many functional problems compared to 360. Everything is an app and takes forever to read a message or start a party. They made it to be all things to everyone and it does nothing particularly well. The graphics are better thats about it. You'll want to throw the Kinect out the window as it keeps interrupting play and muting people. So yeah, the sacrifices we make.

To save you time: PS4 is going to win the poll, if you care. Go where your friends and gamerscore is.
-
I'd say go where your friends are. That's the reason I'm getting ps4. Even though I grew up with halo 2.
-
I got a ps4 because all my friends went and got one. I used to have an Xbox 360 too. But I really love my ps4 now
-
The logical choice is go where your friends are and of course, where you can safely transfer your hard work to. The subjective choice is also Xbox One.
-
I think you should go for ps4. Any ps4 user will agree with this decision as well From a ps4 user.

Honestly, I love PS4 and would definitely recommend one, but if you're getting Destiny for the 360 and playing that for a couple months, might as well get an XBone?

Where's pc. You want to be part of pc mustard race.
