"apparently" from a credible source the actual reset will happen if you turn of your console, so the raid will act like a continuous gaming session, not like a weekly progress where you hope to get to the end as long as the same people can get on again with you. Seems a bit more realistic than a week-long save, since you'll need the exact same people to participate and start back from the exact same point. Edit: just checked the link, and the week long save does seem legit; though a bit weird and difficult to implement. In other news, this photo stands for everything the Titanium Atrium believes in :P http://gyazo.com/a8e50a35030440b31ae463d0f933c0f1

  • i would like to know 1) What happens when i am in a Raid and 1 or more players get a disconnect will they be able to reconnect and if yes will they spawn at some checkpoint. if Not can we Call in other players to make the Team 6 players again?. or is it possible to finish it with less then 6 players. 2) if the group is getting smaller will the Enemy's also become less /weaker

  • In my opinion the 6 players would be locked from when you originally start. They might allow people to reconnect within maybe 15 minutes of a drop out and they wouldn't allow a new player to take an empty spot after the raid had started. I think they want this to be brutal and only players that communicate, organise themselves, commit and are half good will be able to finish them. These checkpoints will be the saviours and only the original raid group will be able to continue with them. I like the idea of making them so hard and hopefully with some good loot people will be able to recognise how much effort went into getting the loot from these raids. It will be interesting to see how it all works in the end because there can be so many different issues that could stop a group or reduce a groups capability from completing raids.

  • For number 2 I honestly doubt the enemies will drop in level, similar to selecting a difficulty for the strike we were given access to, the enemies will be a level that you set them to; I'm guessing that's why they say these will be nigh unattainable solo. I'm sure it'll be doable, just harder without a full strength fireteam. And for 1; since there is a checkpoint system that apparently lasts for a week, they will know things like this will happen so I'm guessing you'll reconnect from the previous checkpoint and will just have to meet up with your buddies further on. Seems only logical since connection issues will always be a thing.

  • so many questions what if someone really has to leave due some emergency or who knows a power outage but we the others would like to go on now i assume we can't call in someone else cos he didn't get in from the start of the Raid but for example could we quit/save this Raid group and start a new one and on a later date do the first Raid Group again.

  • They have the same feature in WoW, and are owned by the same parent company, activision.

  • It was a feature in wow long before activision purchased vivendi. It's just a good feature. Raids will need several days to complete, and they need to have a time limit so they can be repeated. A weekly reset timer is a good thing.
