To be fair, your example is about as a selective as random matchmaking, so uhh I guess thanks for the bad example?

Actually it is different, as it actually requires you to know when and wheres. If raids had matchmaking, there would be no pressure to drop out if you felt like it. This way, even if you don't know the people, you will be much more committed to the raid. My two cents.

Never said it wasn't. Obviously it's similar to matchmaking but we don't have matchmaking so this is the only way to get randoms if you really need to. Also, at least here on b.net you can check their stats and weapons more easily.

Yeah just seems odd, no one is complaining that it's not possible to find people, people are complaining that there's no point in not having matchmaking because this is practically the same. Kinda pointless topic.

Actually I've seen a [i]lot[/i] of people complaining about not being able to experience raids because they can't put together 6 people for a day. So no, this isn't a pointless thread, this is show these kids how to deal with not having matchmaking. You forget there's a lot of younger kids who are used to matchmaking and wouldn't think to do this.
