What do you guys think about people who like to play as the opposite sex in video games?
Personally I am fine with it I just want to know what the community thinks.

Hey there, going to move this over to Gaming. Carry on!

I usually play as a male character the first time around, and a female the second to see if the game is any different. If the game doesn't give me a choice, I don't care what gender the character is, as long as its a good character. I don't think its weird to play a character if the opposite gender, but some people make it weird. I knew a kid who always paused smash bros to take pictures of ZS Samus, and my room mate freshmen yeah played as a female character with the least amount of clothing possible whenever he could.

There's nothing wrong with it at all. When I can create a character in a video game, it's my "ideal" self or it's what I want to look at. Big, burly men are NOT out of the ordinary.

Doesn't really matter to me

I suppose I'm used to it, and don't really have a preference either way. The only time I think it gets awkward is if I'm playing as the opposite gender and there is some... racy content... in a cutscene or something. Especially with the types of... visuals... many developers give to female characters.

The title of the thread gave a clear idea of what this was about.
