Sony is suppose to be releasing a PS4 with 1TB hard drive and upgraded 802.11ac WiFi by the end of the year possibly and so I'd much rather wait for that than have a console with identical hardware to the one I have now to go along with a copy of Destiny that isn't even a Limited Edition.

Real gamers play with cable. All you wifi users make the game lagging. Especially when u are the host.

Edited by Twohothardware: 8/24/2014 6:21:42 PMMaybe if your moms upped you "real gamers" allowance to where you could afford a higher-end router and then had the knowledge to know how to configure and position it you'd know that there's little difference in latency between a solid WiFi connection and a wired LAN connection. That is when your device isn't using a $.50 cent garbage WiFi adapter like what Sony has been putting in the PS3 and PS4 which is the main reason everyone tells you to use a LAN cable to improve your speeds/latency on a Playstation. The Xbox One for example performs great over WiFi and so hopefully the newer 802.11ac adapter Sony is suppose to be upgrading in the PS4 due to all the complaints on forum about the crap WiFi speeds will be a marked improvement.

Edited by CommManagerABYZ: 8/24/2014 1:22:19 PMSo only about 2 percent of people are real gamers? Ok
-
If that's so, why isn't the other 98% linked with an cable?
-
Because it looks worse.

It's on the back of your console:/ A good internet connection is way more important than how it looks
-
To most people, that isn't it

Agreed
