Destiny does not have a crafting system. The closest it has is an enhancement system of different weapons and armor at the moment. So are you stating that you want a crafting system so you can gather materials? or that it has a crafting system? Its got me a little confused.

All I am saying is that as I was exploring old Russia, I came across plants that allowed me to gather some sort of herbs from them.

Ah that was spin-metal, and it wasn't a crafting material as such (although it can be considered a token resource used for gathering). Destiny doesn't have a crafting system that is worthy of the name from what we have seen thus far (and the absence of any crafting stations or traders).
