I am 38 and I have been playing video games longer than most of you have been alive. I see everyone telling their age which seems to be the early 20s for the most part. Most everyone I know does not playing video games, but I have not been this excited about a game since Halo 2 or KOTOR. Anyone else in the same boat?
Edit: I am amazed at all the responses. Thank you all. See all of you on the 9th. Xbox One: pepelewe

Ill be 26 next month. First game I ever pre ordered, thats how excited I am for the game lol. Most of my friends & family don't play video games either. Wish my dad would sometimes. When I was younger & had a sega genesis, we played all the time. I miss it

30! And I love this thread! Before I read this I literally just made topic and I said thebse thing about the last time I was this excited for a game was Halo 2.
-
I'm 38 and love gaming too. My earliest memories are of the Atari 2600 and playing The Hobbit text adventure. I remember being amazed seeing arcade games like Outrun and Afterburner, Operation Wolf, Dragon's Lair, the Star Wars pinball machine and the like. Gameplay will always be king, and the beta gave me that buzz that only comes around once in a while.

As someone in their early twenties, I wish the more mature guardians among us would speak up! I'd much rather your company than... Well, yeah.

I feel young again after reading through some of this thread. 27 soon

36 and sailing the seas of the August Destiny Blues. My wife has been made quite aware that the super helpfulness of August will come to an abrupt halt Sept 9th, but I assured her that I wouldn't start Tuesday until the kids were asleep.

I have socks in their 30's. Now that im in my 50's I often wonder if I fit in with a younger crowd. Then I realize just how much I want to play and how little I care about any crowd. VtxR - PS3

Edited by Droppockets: 8/21/2014 7:42:28 PM43 GOING ON 13 WITH MY OLDEST SON. WHO SAYS YOU SHOULD TRY TO LIVE TROUGH YOUR KIDS. I AM STILL A CHILD.
-
I am 32, but I act like I'm 18. lol. You're only as old as you feel!
-
I'm an old. But my inner kid is alive and well. I'm planning on tagging my Doctor right before I die gasping out "Tag! You're it." Ha ha -blam!- that guy.

I used to worry about getting older. Now I am happy I am getting older. The alternative....not so much. I remember riding the first skateboard and taking the first hula hoop for a spin. Skateboard. It was a plank nailed to a long roller skate. I got off of it just as quick as I got on it, cracking my head on the sidewalk. You bet I m happy to get older. I don't have to do stupid stuff like that anymore. Well, I do stupid stuff once in a while but not for the sake of looking cool. 64. Remember being Dungeon Master for a bunch of shipmates in the hold of a man-of-war in 1975. That was when being cool took new meaning. We never dreamed the game we were playing would be the foundation of what it has become. Am I still a kid at heart? http://www.bungie.net/en/Clan/Detail/168121

39 here. There have been a few of these threads over the last couple of months. Seems like each one gets more responses. Guess our numbers are growing as more people join the forum.

I'm 30 my first game system was a Commodore 64 and I wish I still had it. I'll be gaming till I die there is no such thing as old.

37 here and gaming strong. My buddies and I have gaming group for board games like zombicide and pen and paper like D&D. Love video games but there are just too many to play so I have to buy carefully and choose what to spend my time on. We all know full time jobs pay for these great games. It has been awhile since I have had this level of excitement over a game. Destiny is going to suck my soul and I will love it. Hope to see you guys in game. Ps4 for me.
