wow. well put. i always thought THE exact same thing. the second this game drops im never coming here. the forums are basically what u said they are. there ARE however some VERY cool people. ive made some wonderful friends here. its ashame that most cool people quit posting only because they know no matter what theyre gonna get flamed. a shame. yeah the idiots here overpower all the good ones and i hate that. once sept 9 comes..myself..you..and all the good ones here will indeed be gone. well be playing destiny..finally, and not giving a shit what these troll assholes say :)

Like I told the OP, when it sinks in this is an 'always online' game, and that they'll need to do scheduled maint., which means game down time, you'll be back, at the very least to hopefully know when the servers are coming back up...

yeah for sure. ill never totally stay away just because i love bungie and i enjoy the really cool people here who are legit. ill definitely cut my time here by 75% once destinys out though. just to stay away from the people who are purposely trying to ruin peoples fun. i actually even enjoy a few of the clever sarcastic trolls hahaha. those kind tend to do what they do just for a good laugh. kinda sucks that most here dont seem to get that. my problem is with the trolls who are here just to actually try to piss people off and be flat out mean and disrespectful. no time for that shit lol. but yeah...youre right...ill be back..i love the overall community too much and love bungie games so ill never totally vacate:)

I generally have an open sense of humour to, so found some of the more creative trolls actually funny or at least interesting. I think anyone really serious about Destiny (that includes me) will be spending most of their time in game, but I know there'll be down time for maint. and updates. There will be those of us patient and understanding, but many of the solid FPS community (that have never played MMOs or hell even RPGs) are not likely to have the proper patience, so I expect there'll be a shit storm of posts on here, especially the first few times Destiny goes down...
