I got bored of reading so stopped lol. Simple solution is just give players the options, done. Prox on/off
Strike chat on/off
PvP chat on/off
Then have the standard mute feature for when needed. Done.

Edited by CheckForAPulse: 8/15/2014 8:17:09 AMJust proximity chat on its own would be horrid. I'd rather not be listening to someone having a conversation with their friends, or playing their awful music at full volume through their mic.

I agree I would have it turned off but if people want it why not give them the option.

Edited by CheckForAPulse: 8/15/2014 8:41:19 AMThe option is good, Just my thinking is that having to perform something simple (like get the ghost out to transmit, or a push to talk button) This would be a good use of the ghost in tower and explore, and should stop the noise pollution in the channel at the same time.

That is so true, I pretty much do push to talk on my xbox one controller. The plug in has a mute feature I always leave on then press it to talk then press it to mute again, I don't want to bug people if I got background noise.
