Since the game is dependent on your gear I would assume they would only match you with similarly leveled/geared people... Otherwise it will probably be a broken playlist. I'm hoping they implement a rank system which can be used to match us.

That's what I'm hoping for as well. Although by the responses thus far, it's sounding more and more like the iron banner is going to be a "play at your own inexperienced risk" kinda scenario (i.e., endgame). _Ohuigin
