You can't cap objectives if you can't learn to kill KD>Everything, quit telling yourself just because you can capture a point or play the objective and get points for your team you are good at objective mode, The truth in that logic is actually, Im terrible player who can't kill but fortunately there were enough killers on my team to carry me that i was able to capture the points thanks to their efforts, I <3 BACKPACKS. As far as a method of evaluating player skill, K/D isn't the only indicator but its a good start, The absolute best thing Bungie could ever do is to try to emulate their Halo 2 ranking system because lets face it that was the realest skill evaluator ever.

I know that's not as high as yours, but be gentle, I tend to like bad guns.[/quote] As for the flamboyant elitism, you're saying that players shouldn't be statistically rewarded in any way for completing objectives because they should "Get good". I'm not going to argue with you about this topic, I've had 2 or 3 others in this thread just like you, and I've learned not to bother. It always goes back to a raging ego. Respond if you like in regards to this point, but I won't bother to reply to it. Try to mellow out, for real, objective players are players too.   • It depends on how you define bad K/D, IF a bad KD is defined as less then 2-3 that's just arbritary but if you have a negative KD then I think that is bad, it mean you are dying more times then you are getting kills, even if you are playing objectives if you can't maintain a K/D above 1 then you are putting your team shorthanded more often then you are not because K/D indirectly is a measure of how long/often you are alive in the game and in small team games like this every player makes an impact on the game.

However, I don't think that adding score to the mix would be worse. That way, even without objectives, you'd get bonuses for skill-related actions such as double kills and sprees.
