What is wrong with PvP is that it exists. (Obviously not a fan of pvp.)

People like you need to either get over your fear of pvp or let other people who like pvp have pvp.. Don't get me wrong I'll be playing more pve but pvp in every game to me has been the true test of skill

It isn't fear. It is dislike. And those of you who LIKE pvp, have it in Destiny -- That however does not change my opinion of pvp. I DON'T like it and shared the opinion that I would prefer a game without it. Nobody is forcing me to play it, so I don't suspect you or anyone else will see me in the Crucible very often if ever.

See I will be doing the same. But it is the connection that your characters are yours no matter the game type that is cool for me. I have always been less of a PvP person but that fact is pretty cool to me.

I have played almost every FPS pvp style game and I always enjoy my experience, but I think I may be a MMORPG player at heart, so PvE is my thing. The ability to keep your character instead of being given a generic face/outfit is frickin sweet.
