All I can say is Bungie is lucky No Man's Sky isn't coming out in a month. Because I'd rather buy that than what I'm hearing about Destiny with only a few weeks left.
One map per planet, deplorable communication, and so on and so on. It's pretty depressing from the initial 2013 GDC description to what's being heralded in after the beta on the final breath of the product's content.
Well that's because Bungie is playing this down to the wire on their game launching. The double edged sword of the consumer imagination runs both ways. Some will say we haven't seen everything yet, while others will go this is your best? Really?
The shaders are not very exciting granted. From what I saw on certain faction shaders being unlocked in the Alpha I found myself not really impressed.
But I've also seen the 2014 GDC where they went into some detail on the color palettes that will be out there, and it's such darn mixed signal.
Because Wow!!!
Now granted Warframe has a excellent amount of colors to sort through, but they are for the most part locked behind a pay wall. So as great as they are it might as well be non existent for many players.
One of the best color customizations I've seen was on Forza 4 with its decal economy and Bungie made me hopeful when they stated they were interested in that model.
I don't know OP. All the games I want to play are basically coming out in 2015. If anything Destiny for all it's perceived misgivings just has to get me there if its at heart a really bad let down.

I will be blunt. If you feel Destiny is not for you then cancel your Pre-order and get a different game. You already said YOU PREFER NO MAN's SKY over Destiny so wait for it to come out. No one is is forcing you to buy Destiny. (well I hope not anyway) Do what you feel is best.

Are you okay? Does it really bother you that bad? It shouldn't. Take a step back. It's okay. I played Warframe to get to Destiny. I still like Warframe. I'll play Destiny to get to NMS. I'll like Destiny. But currently if NMS was but a month away I would cancel my pre-order. It's about another year or two and EVOLVE just got pushed back to 2015. If Destiny can't excite me then it can atleast kill some time till 2015.

Wow that upset you? All I was saying is if you feel that Destiny is not for you then dont waste your money or time. Just wait for something you like to come out. You really need a shrink if you cant handle people saying "Do what you feel is best"

not all caps just pointed out that you said you prefer another game over Destiny so wait for it if you have doubts if you will like Destiny.

And please don't read into that as being smarmy. It's easy to get angry and skim a statement to get a misgiving off one's chest. There are subtle markers pointing to current trends compared to actual game play from the full retail version. In its current state NMS would be preferable. Also it's not really a black and white issue. It sounds like you want punish me for having the audacity to express an inch of dissatisfaction in Destiny. I could be wrong, but that's the gist. That's okay. It's a knee jerk reaction to say go elsewhere. The real issue is time and money. I have the money to buy a game that will last me to NMS. I have quite a bit of time to wait till it launches. You running in and saying get out is adorable and if it wasn't you it would be someone else who's passionate about Destiny and cannot distance themselves from it. I said the same with Warframe. I have the money to buy items from its market to give me something to do till the next game that interests me is available. Destiny has that same potential to carry me till the next game. That's not a bad thing. You just have to say well hope it grows on you, see you when NMS launches. Or are you digging in your heels and it's I gotta have the last word?

Point blank if I felt a game was better than another I would voice my Opinions (which you did which is fine) but I would not enter Defensive mode when others voice back to you. I never said you were stupid, mad or upset (well I assumed that since you responded back with such force) I will say it You need help if you always hulk out over someone commenting on you post. I am not saying This or that game is better than the other. Just if you feel it is just a time killer and you wont enjoy it then don't buy it. That is fine express your feelings. You even expressed your feedback on how this needs to be approved. Again you said you feel Destiny is just a time killer till 2015. I cant say you are right or wrong about this only time will tell. As for me as I said if you truly feel this then skip the game, don't buy it etc. now take a cleansing breath.
