Wtf just heard the news bout our characters not crossing over to final game release What was the whole point of the iron banner event telling us to participate and get legendary loot drops stuff that we can't even use coz of level cap knowing full well u was going to delete our characters and we was never going to be able to have our legendary weapons and armour that we acquired it sounds shady to me like you took us all for fools.....thanks

Now I could be over looking out here but that's what I red on the forums before the 27 the day of the " big event " but what I saw was nothing, maybe its coming in the release. Not to mention when deej post that we should not pay attention to the press and what they were saying about the beta end date. He said that they will be the ones that will decide the release and will continue for as long as they taught testing should go on for and yet on the 27 the beta close any ways, not to mention the fact that they gave iron banner stuff and legendary items that were way past our level knowing that we won't be able to use them, having us thinking that it might transfer over only to find out later that the vault along with our players will be gone. Let's face it...... The beta was a bit dry.... It wasn't enough to have us rely test the game but regardless of all this negative feed Destiny is still a really great game and it is part of the reason that makes this irritating, now I am still a big fan of Destiny, I still have really high hopes for this game and is waiting for the release date so maybe it can end this never ending and ever frustrating thirst that I can't seem to quench.

No Bungie did not take anyone for fools, just some people don't understand the concept of beta testing a game, and that beta characters " are usually wiped/ deleted" as it's a gaming industry practice norm to do so when moving from one build of a game the next build. Just take this a lesion/experience when it come to beta testing other games in the future.

Beta is just a demo, we were never supposed to take it seriously. Just test it (gameplay,servers,lag and gun mechanics etc)

Ohh no!!! It's the end of the world.......... Of War Craft! It was just a test for Bungie to check server pressure and other things. You will have the chance to play it all over again in 5 weeks. Levelling was accelerated for the Alpha and Beta, just think of how much more you will appreciate the gear you get when it takes hours to level one level rather than eight. We were asked to test the game and we did, if you honestly thought you were going to get to keep that you got I'm sorry to hear that. Be patient and no doubt you'll get better gear when it starts all over again.

We were never supposed to keep anything, a beta is just a test/demo in order for Bungie to recieve feedback about the game and fix what needs to be fixed

Its called teasing full game mechanics, game demos done that for for over two decades, if not more.
