I'm not too upset that our Guardians' progress won't carry over, nor am I that items and currency won't be waiting in the vault for me on 9/9. Both of these were more or less expected. My gripe is about the Grimoire. All of the items, experience, and reputation we amassed in the Beta (and Alpha) were for our Guardians. The Grimoire is something tied to us as Players. It was a measure of our tenacity, experience, and time invested. It provides absolutely no advantage in the game, just a number next to our names. As such, I can't fathom Bungie's rationale for not keeping it 'intact'.

Dear Bungie, during the xbox 360 beta period, there was a very annoying glitch with the hunter's cape during free roam and story missions, basically anywhere but the tower, where the cape would stick to the players' feet. Have any of you at bungie found a way to fix this? Thanks.

5 Repliesok bungie u have ripped my guardian from me.....and im ok with it but theres only one thing I cant quite grasp yet, I earned the pacadillo's hand cannon and put it in the vault because i cant use it, but how am i suppost to use it for my new guardian in the final build of the game?

To the robot space pimps, the gun wielding supermen and the HMG nutcases we know to be titans. May you live forever in our hearts as the first guardians to capture our hearts and souls in this fantastic game and as you leave us, your embrace disappearing into the myths of gaming and internet fan fictions alike, know this your guardian has paved the way for a new generation, ones who will certainly not replace the gaping hole that is appearing in your heart as you read down this page but to create a new spot, to be the guardian 2.0 who will this time last, until the server crashes and Seattle falls into the ocean. So while sorrow fills your heart rejoice that your guardian did not die in vain and remember they will be a badge worn with pride on your chest as you progress through your long life of gaming, alongside your exclusive forum emblem and that piece of ancient parchment that totally does not look like a poster that's signed by a famous person.

2 RepliesOk, this seriously needs to be said. For those "bitching" (not the word I would use) about the beta not carrying over and us being entitled to it, you are in a sense right. We were entitled to the beta because bungie did [b]PROMISE[/b] it on their website around April time that those who preordered were [b]entitled[/b] yes they said it themselves, [b]entitled[/b] to the beta. However it was a beta, bungie made No promises or inclinations that the info would carry over so if you guys put so much time and effort into it then that is really your fault. You should have prepared for the worst really. And for those of you calling them ungrateful and idiots. Ehh. I don't understand why you are being so harsh and everything about it, honestly reading through these comments you guys sound just as butt hurt as them. Bungie have confirmed the beta progress will not carry over, you no longer need to continuously remind people they ain't changing that, why fight a supposed "war" that's already over? You guys are just giving yourself extra hassle. If you think you are defending bungie you are wrong, bungie are a big company, they don't need defending, let's just all shut up and look forward to September.

2 Replieshmm i can get around 1 million kills in around 8 months. im not 100 percent certain. i had 14k+ in the beta which lasted for around 7 days so im not that worried. but bungie, we excpect alot from you.

1 ReplyWow...wow.... Everything that we've been through... HERES A BACKSTORY! Okay so all guardians got together to stop the darkness. Ever scence the story of your guardian began they new they would fight the darkness. The warlocks studied major spells of mas destruction. Making them able to destroy moons. The hunters practiced snipe ing useing the heads of live fallen. Using fallen armor as as bullets for the weapon of legends. The titans train to they're body limits. Making they're fists as lethal as an asteroid. From the day they came here to the day they could not level any more. As individuals they were great in strength, as a team they were unstoppable... Or so they thought. All class and species gathered on the 27th they got on they're ships and flew directly into the darkness. Millions of ships flying besides each other as if they're class, they're species didn't matter. They went right into fallen colonies and fought. The darkness watched them millions fell. But thousands still lived! And there it was... The darkness... It was horrifying... Your guardian was there... My guardian was there... They fought greatly the battle was so great the planet itself started to shake and crack. But no damage was done to it. It stood there and laughed. All the guardians look at one another and raised there fists. They wouldn't die without fighting. They combined powers. The warlocks with the hunters. The titans with the hunters and so on. They started to hurt the darkness but the darkness became furriouse. He attacked with one shot all guardians were whiped out. They were all destroyed, killed as if they never existed the tower now empty without a population. But out of the blast one ghost remained. Your ghost. It went back to the tower and the merchants the vanguards and the crucible was back. Now... Your guardian one day will return. He won't remember anything... But he will soon. 9/9/14. It Pains me to see my Guardian enter the still that he once created amongst the fallen... But Here's to future adventures, and to ten more years of Bungie wreaking havoc on our consoles!
