But do not lose hope, for they are the legacy from which future Guardians shall be borne, and they shall rise to even greater heights, accomplishing feats thought to be impossible, and they shall defeat the Darkness and its minions, and we shall look upon a new day which will shine brighter than any we have ever seen.

A fond farewell to my guardians. While you will be missed, I look forward honoring your memory on 9/9! Jonesing for Destiny!

8 RepliesWhy do they always pick the dumbest questions to answer. What is the best thing about Destiny? If you have to ask yourself that you might wanna skip this game. If I said IDDQD would you know what I was talking about? who cares looks like another person is canceling there pre-order. The other questions were ok at best so can we please ask better questions?

Legion: my Exo titan stood fast against many fallen and hive, all of which met a painful ending by his hand cannons, scout rifles, auto rifles, shotguns, and many other weapons...his fists broke the enemy ranks, his fists of havoc shook the earth to its core, his armor stained with guardians blood, friend or foe...I'm saddened to see him go...but I will have some happiness knowing he died killing fallen and hive and smiling with glee all the while....he took down devil walker tanks, hordes of fallen, masses of hive, he helped guardians in there hour of need nearing there death...he received help from guardians as well. Legion...my titan...my guardian....one of many to be ended...I shall remember you...and I shall slaughter every. Single. Creature of darkness. Your ending will not go unpunished...rest in peace legion.,,you earned the rest solider.

12 RepliesAll right so because there wasn't a "single monumental change" we are not able to keep anything what so ever, not even a "destiny beta character file" or something in the app to be able to remember our past experiences with the beta, or would the slight little adjustments that they made to the game just make that totally wrong, because oh no you can't see your beta hunter with a cape thats 36 inches long when in the full version that same cape is 35 inches, that would just mess everything up and the universe would explode

So if the only thing you get from the Beta is the specialty emblem why can't that be cross platform? (Aka xbox360 to PS4) It seems like most of the Destiny character stats get shared on our Bungie.net accounts so it seems like even though I played the beta on 360 I could get the emblem on PS4 at release. I understand there are legal issues of some sort but maybe the view I have makes it more of a minor issue than it is? I admit I'm a little glad nothing else transfers since that means I have no reason to stick with Xbox and can happily play it on the PS4. (As nice as the emblem would be it's not enough reason for me to stay.)

My beta guardian has been immortalized in the strike gameplay footage I recorded. I can always relive that first glorious day of the beta.

2 Replies*Sigh* Even though is knew this would happen, still sucks. Filled up all 60 armor and weapon slots with gear that was lvl 9 or higher, was hoping I could use it one day. Guess I'll just have to re earn it

21 RepliesSo being a Beta Tester was fun, but ultimate just puts at the same level has everyone else. Except we get flasher banners that we'll probably replace when we get cooler ones. And yes, I'm still pretty unimpressed by the warlocks appearance. Hell, he looks like my warlock with just shaders. Talk about the biggest disappointment ever. We get to wait four more weeks for a game that we have to start anew in. And from the looks of it, your continued attempts at being poetic at your decisions is more irritating then insightful. I'm becoming quite apprehensive about Destiny because it's starting to sound like 'Brink'. "Oooh look at me~ I offer character customization, isn't it so cool?" Except the limited slides you show, are literally all that is offered. The warlock's outfit looks pretty Cookie cutter stylized. Anyone else getting aggravated by the way Bungie is handling things? The exceptionally brief beta, the limited exposure of content, the lengthy amount of time they take to answer any questions with any sort of 'weight', and the lack of pretty much anything impressive? I mean, sure they made a fun game for a week. But will it's content last for at least a month? Someone help me out here, I'm experience a crisis of faith in 'Bungie' abilities.
