Finally! I'm glad they wiped and told us about it, This hopefully will end the topic war for it, I enjoyed beta alot and i played it like it was the real deal, I do not miss my old guardian but i look forward to starting a new one and explore the beautiful world of Destiny, The tingling sensation will be that much stronger in september when i see 3 empty slots ahead of me and i know, This is now the real deal and going to be so much fun to advance in the story explore every corner you can cram into and spend those nostalgic hundreds of hours grinding gear and maxing out my characters i make. See you all in september!

During this beta i beat friends on many different things ... they beat me back on fewer... yet i still stood victorious. The release of a complete fresh start on the new game craves me some more victory over them once again, with more reason to be proud of the guardian i was before who will rebirth into the same success i shall win over once again... all i can say is.. Bring It On.

To be honest, I've participated in so many betas, I can't remember the ones anymore, but I do have a collage of photos I took way back in the early 90's that I've worked on and kept up to date as best I can. My Destiny beta guy holds another slot in that frame which is too big for one picture anymore. I won't say farewell to him. Guardians deeds, like you stated Bungie, still live in the final product and the next Guardians to replace those ones will be ones filled with the grandeur and welcome of the spirit beta characters. This, for me, is only the beginning of that. The calm before the storm. And I think we all will agree that this... is just the beginning.

3 RepliesAs much as I am ok with the wiping of the beta characters, the superfluous poeticism from Bungie is getting old. Like, 'We're tweaking, tinkering, and even making significant changes'... ...how about sharing a changelog so I know how my experience is going to change between the Beta and Final build. We did play a 'Beta' after all; not a 'Demo', right? I know I'm probably going to get flamed for this, but I just wanted to share how I feel, CUMULATIVELY, to this point, about Bungie's communication. P.S. I'm still stoked out of my mind for the game.

Good to have a decision about carry over, I'm fine with it. But could you have picked other more useless questions to answer aside from the carry over? People from other regions are asking if we will be able to play straight away on release or wait for PST but instead we get the useless crap above.

Bungie, I expected more from this game to be honest. Kind of depressed actually. This game isn't really open world, just one big linear circle on each planet. The PvP is very boring compared to halo, I mean, 6v6? Come on guys, and not to mention it is horribly balanced (I could go into more detail). On top of all of this you guys limited this game because you wanted to be fair to the previous gen?! Screw that, I paid good money for my next-gen console but I am paying for a previous gen copy of the game. I bought my Ps4 specifically for this game and its turning out to be crap as the days go on. I feel like I wasted my money, but I guess as long as you guys make a good profit ,single opinions do not matter. I kind of wish you guys had released this info earlier and the beta because if I would have known about half of the crap I know now, I definitely never would have put money down for this game. I guess its my fault for expecting too much from you guys, but then again, what else was I to expect from a company that usually delivered in my eyes?
