I have a clan (We Will Be Legends) as well, it's very small however (so anyone interested is welcome, I created it yesterday before work). I also only have a few friends that own a PS4, so my list of people that I can game with is very small currently. Raids and matchmaking seem like a good idea for me personally. I see why it's not, and hope it never happens (thought you knew where I was going with this did ya?) As with my clan, I don't want someone that will have parents yell it's bedtime and take my team of 6 down to 5, which normally when that happens, takes it down to 4 or 3 (past matchmaking experience) and eventually down to me. I am the type of player that even if the odds are against me, I will fight it out. So the ONLY way I can see MM being anything more than harmful for players like me, is have some sort of system to track how many times a player leaves in the middle. Now, sometimes things come up in life, and not saying if you left in the middle one time or 2 times makes you a bad person, but the people that leave when things get tough, or "have to go to bed" will be seen for who they are because they have the most times left in the list. That's the best solution I have for the MM situation, do I personally want it? Yes, till my clan gets bigger and my friends all get PS4s. Do I think it will help things, and be a positive experience for 99% of players? That sadly is a big fat no at this point.

  • I just think it's a good option for those not in clans for one reason or another. Clan is obviously better.

  • It is, but it isn't. How many times have you had a MM in lets say COD, fall apart mid match because you were losing? Or because you heard, it's time for bed? Then 2 minutes later another leaves without saying anything. It's the domino effect at it's worst, and I am afraid to raid with that scenario. That's why something to track who leaves how often, to me would help eliminate that fear.
