Thank God. After he trashed the ending to Mass Effect 3, I'm hard pressed to play any new games he is involved in...

Both EA and Bioware are rotten to the core. Bioware shares blame as it kinda came out that there was a lot of internal struggle within the studio around 2009/10. You see it in their games. There is an obvious culture change if you look at the timeline of Bioware games. We go from Knights of the Old Republic and born from that Jade Empire (kinda,) Mass Effect, and Dragon Age: Origins, all highly regarded RPG's, to that Sonic game for DS, Mass Effect 2 and 3 watering down their RPG mechanics because Call of Duty sells a lot of copies, and the disaster of Dragon Age II.

  • Which is interesting because Dragon Age: Origins was their best selling game (this might have changed over the last few years). DA: O was their most "RPG-y" game this gen. Origins sold way more than DA: II. To be fair ME and ME2 didn't come to PS3 until later which certainly hurt its ability to take off with 50% of the console consumer base.

  • Dragon Age 2 was rushed because of EA,they saw the potential(Money) it made and they rushed Bioware out of greed

That's not entirely true. DA: O was done long before it came out. This was because Bioware basically finished the game, were bought by EA, and the 360/PS3 ports then went into development. DA II started development a fair bit earlier than the usual sequel. And say I'm mixing this up or that what I said isn't true: The least of DA II's problems were that it was rushed. It's not like if they had more time that game would have magically solved its deeply rooted issues. The whole "Hit A and something awesome should happen" was their mentality when crafting this game. Bioware wanted to make a more action oriented game. Battlefield 4 is an example of EA putting a game out that wasn't finished. If BF4 didn't have the technical issues that have plagued that game then it wouldn't be too bad. DA II is just plain bad.

  • You know that Casey Hudson wrote the ending and didn't allow the writers to have any input right?
