Even if mm was included it would still be pointless if you queued for 20 mins, only to find a group and the conversation goes like;
Group leader (GL) :hi, do you have epic/legendary 'x' weapons/armour/ ?
You: erm, no.
GL : Do you have experience with this raid?
You: erm, no, my 1st time here.
GL: Get some epic/legendary weapons/armour and some more experience then come back.
You: How am I suppose to get experience if am New? And nobody will take me?
GL: join a clan.
You: I am in one! They said what you said!
GL: Sorry, *kicks you out of group*
Oh yes, this does happen in some games. I know, because this happened to me.

Nobody can would "kick" you for two reasons.. First, if they kick you they won't be able to run the raid due to difficulty.. Secondly, there isn't a "host" for groups in Destiny nor an option to kick people. Unfortunately with this being said, troll could gain access through MM and there would be nothing you could do..
-
Not kick on Destiny I know, I meant in WoW. But yes, I understand your point
-
I played WoW lol, it could be a mess at times. But meeting ppl for raids was at least possible because you could communicate with people unlike Destiny currently.
-
Well we won't know about Destiny yet, maybe they haven't implemented the chat system yet. We shall see soon enough.
-
eh? but that's the problem you get from elitist pigs playing with guardians who just looking for a challenge those elitist pigs will still have the forums and clans to get a team together with their own kind so this wont happen..... unless none elitist are forced into searching the forums and clans with the elitist which people are arguing for with no MM
queued for 20 mins
we saw how long it took in the beta to search for 6 guardians in crucible

That is more common then you think., For new raiders when I raided in everquest 2, Our raid leaders had them watch old raids they recorded or listened to us raiding before we took them in the first time so they had some experience with the raid, and what they should be doing on each name fight. Match making or a system to find a group is still need to me. You cant expect your friends to always be on when you are or expect your clan to have a open spot ether.

Was everquest a subscription game?
-
Everquest 2 was a subscription game when I raided.
-
Probably the reason why only people wanted the best to raid, because they feel that they 'paid' for it.

A lot of people in games seem to think you need the perfect group setup to do things as well now. They often wont think to see other options if they are always playing with the same people. I do strongly support a MM system or a chat system so we can get to know players in the game easier and let others know we(you, others and I) are looking to do something then relying on forum posts to find groups for things.

in fact MM is there for all you can tackle with on fly group. Just raids that need a statics are left out
