Adding MM wouldn't ruin raids. They'd be disorganized, and wouldn't go as smoothly as they would with people you know, but that's all. Considering nobody would be forcing you to go into matchmaking, you can still get 5 other people and do the raids yourself, so MM is in no way harmful.
-
They mention how "a lone wolf walking away from the group" could ruin the raid, so please, explain how 4 friends and I would go about going into a raid without a randomer running off?
-
By not playing matchmaking. Again, nobody would be forcing you to play matchmaking. You'd still be able to play with 5 other friends and do raids on your own just like how it's going to be now. Having MM wouldn't harm you in any way. That's on you if you choose to jump in with a random. It at least makes both sides happy.
-
Considering Bungie has even said that raids "aren't for everybody" and it should have to be difficult, I don't think you realise how difficult they are planing it to be. Randomers won't be able to do it. They aren't adding it anyway, so stop bitching and get over it. Go back to the pointless "nerf everything " posts. More likely to get results there.
-
I realize their difficulty, and plan on playing with 5 friends regardless. The option for MM still wouldn't harm you in any way. Where exactly did I bitch about this? I simply stated my opinion, and you instantly assume I want the game completely nerfed?
-
I completely agree MM would ruin raids. People who never raided just don't see how bad that is for raids, its like tellin someone not to touch something hot because they are going to get burned but they want to touch it anyways. People just trust bungie and people who have done raids before. Matchmaking is bad for raids.
