Take a look at the blade dancer subclass, there's tons of abilities and bonuses for invisibility and increased melee damage. Plus you get blink and blink strike as a melee. Super stealthy

I figured as much because it's exactly what you wanted, but nobody every really made a big deal of being able to see it so don't feel bad
