1 ReplyOk for everyone wondering Slate made this topic about Raid MM and how he wanted everything given to him basically.He didn't have time to play and wanted to only put 40 hours in and have the best gear. The reason he changed the topic name is easy to see just read.

34 RepliesEdited by Jesse_James-574-: 8/2/2014 1:28:13 AMBungie did a great thing NOT allowing MM in raids these are setup for experienced highly team focused individuals the way it should be.It takes planning,high amounts of team work and hours of grinding.I put 4-7 hours a day into gaming and easily put 500+ hours into most games i play would be as sad thing to see everyone after 3 months wearing the same exotic and legendary gear as everyone else.These raids need to be EPICLY difficult and the same with exotic and legendary gear it should require 100's+ hours of grinding or you loss your HARDCORE group fast.The same group that will if Bungie allows put 500+ hours into there game coming back. **Edit Rant Alert**See you are a casual gamer im the opposite my friend you may put 50 hours into Destiny and call it quits my people dont mess around we game my friend oh and when we game we game hard.20+ years everyday die-hard.When your done with Destiny at 50 hours im just getting warmed up at 500 hours im ready for another 500.Me and the LARGE HARDCORE community keep coming back if theres a reason to you and the casuals want everything given to them and wont put 10% of the time me and the HARDCORE group will.*** You want everything easy it sounds like.You should have to put 100's+ hours into the game before you even start seeing anything exotic or legendary the feelings different when you really earn it.Im telling you if this game can be conquerd and i can gather every exotic or legendary gear i want within 250 hours ill be done within 3 months and im far from alone on that.*** BOTTOM LINE RAIDS ARE FOR ELITE VETERAN TEAMS IN NO WAY SHAPE OR FORM FOR RANDOM GUYS.THE DIFFICULTY SHOULD BE OUTTA THIS WORLD TO EVEN GET A CHANCE TO RAID IM TALKING 250+ HOURS BEFORE YOU EVEN SEE A RAID AND ONCE IN A RAID IT SHOULD BE JUST AS DIFFICULT TO PASS.*** *** Left a link for my topic with different points to many issues join our debate *** Edit:I apologize in advanced if i seem brash or rude in my delivery it is for the sake of debate and that alone.

Don't worry about these 'elite players'. Games are for fun. These are the people who just sit in basements playing video games and acting all high and mighty about them because they have nothing else to show for their lives. Raids will be fun. Don't let the basement dwellers turn you off.

1 ReplyEdited by Eternity: 8/4/2014 1:25:45 AMPerfect - I'm really glad you've realised that raids are not targetted at gamers who don't enjoy extreme challenges, and have decided to abstain from playing them instead of asking Bungie to change their game and remove all challenge from it. I wish there were more like you on these forums :) (Worth noting that it didn't take 16 hours to complete. They didn't manage to complete it in 16 hours, so there is no completion time. Bungie say about 3 hours on Normal - I can only assume these guys were playing on a harder difficulty and failed to develop the right strategies)
