As someone whose friends don't play video games, I personally don't have 5 other people who would play a Raid with me.
So a lack of matchmaking in Raids means I will never get to experience them, as simple as that.
Because sending friend requests to random people is exactly the same as having a matchmaking system in the first place when talking about cooperative barriers.

You didn't really understand what I wrote, I think. I didn't say "INVITE RANDOM PEOPLE LOLOLOL". I said send friend requests to people that look like they meet your criteria. If you decide not to work with other people who have the same goals as you, that's not Bungie's decision, it's yours.
