You know, getting an unwanted legendary weapon might actually encourage people to try out the new weapon type, instead of staying with their Auto Rifle.
Beside, It still wouldn't deter farmers.

and how does that effect anyone on here negatively? well other then the idiot willing to pay for a weapon of equal value to the one hes giving up... thats like some one winning 5 bucks from a loto ticket and some one else saying "wow thats some really cool 5 dollar bill you got there, but mine is a little newer... il tell you what! if you want to give me that 5 dollar bill + another 10 dollars then il let you have my new 5 dollar bill!" no one but the idiot trading 15 bucks for 5 gets hurt there.

You can ask that question again when everybody in a raid group has bought the perfect gear, and you are denied a spot because you honest gear is substandard.
