Spartans can dent steel (or covenant metal) or even punch through it. Proof from Sarah Palmer in halo 4 where she dents the command table when angry ins cutscenes. Proof from every other spartan who boards a wraith and punches the sh*t out of it. Can a guardian do that? Can a titan do that? Not to an interceptor, which is not even a tank. They can barely break their own sparrows. Spartans hit harder by a ton. (Almost literally) AI vs ghost. Ghosts open doors and can revive, but they must reveal themselves to do so. Can be destroyed as proof of Petra Venj grimroire where she orders a air strike that kills 3 teams of guardians AND their ghosts. Also reference the dead guy at the moon mission where the ghost says "we've woken the hive". AI open doors, can attack, can predict battle outcomes, can hack covalent and promethean technology, can attack in their own way (hacking weapons or what not), can defend (proof at the end of halo 4 where cortana protects master chief. AI wins. Armor lock beats anything. Void bomb is basically a wraith shot. Golden gun is basically a super spartan laser Fist of havoc is basically gravity hammer. Ward of dawn is basically drop shield (which actually can regen health, besides if a spartan went into a saint-14 bubble, the ai would direct the spartan what to do.) Sunslinger is basically more grenades and back from the dead. That means more fun for Spartans. Arc blade is basically plasma sword (which blocks bullets by the way. For this of you who think that arc blade is more agile, Spartans can run at 60 mph with their armor on. Their reflexes allow then to dodge rockets. Ie: gjallarhorn. Spartans win the agility contest) Armor lock beats all of that stuff. It survives an atmospherical drop (halo 3) which if bungie died their science, would have created a big @ss crater since Spartans weigh so much. They have more mass which means they accelerate to greater speeds when falling and would probably create a bigger crater than a bombing run if they dropped from orbit.

Guardians have more manoeuvrability, speed and damage output. Spartans can take more hits and can process battle situations faster, so it'd be close, but I do believe that Guardians have the advantage.

Out of their armor, a fourteen year old male SPARTAN-II (the Chief) accidently killed two full grown, battle-hardened ODSTs with his bare hands. The other two only received life threatening injuries. Another ripped a Hunter apart with its bare hands. Kelly broke an Elite's wrist and cut its two partners in half with a single energy sword swing. The Chief once dodged an incoming missile strike by [i]slapping the missile away at the last second.[/i] This doesn't even take into account the formal combat training and experience of SPARTANS. The II's have spent decades in non-stop warfare, destroying entire fleets of Covenant and saving trillions of lives on their own. They are notoriously hard to kill and willing to do anything to win. Each one is a tactical genius. They grew up together. When working as a team, they basically read each other's minds. Each of them have specialities, and they dynamically and expertly change their tactics for any situation. SPARTANS don't give a crap about silly space magic.

Destiny Universe, couldn't defend one Solar System with 8 Planets. Halo Universe, defended several of solar systems with several planets. Face it Guardians. Destinyverse is full of pansies.

I'm a die hard Halo fan, but I'd have to go with the Guardians for this one. The simple fact that they can be revived via their ghosts makes them a force to be reckoned with.

Spartans can pick up weapons from the ground. He or she just needed to run in to a crucible map, pick up a Thorn and a Last Word, deal wield, and that's the end of it.

Spartans. The guardians are prone to nerfs.

Guardians literally can die as many times as they please and still come back. And before you say a spartan can destroy their ghosts go into destiny pvp, kill a guardian and shoot his ghost, notice something? Yeah it's shielded. Honestly I think plenty of people who said spartans are halo fanboys.
