To the older Gamers out there.
Just think about how nice it's going to be playing Destiny after 9:00pm. Destiny releases right after school starts for the youngsters,so at night when all the bratty,whinny,cussing lil kiddos get sent to bed do to their parents strict bedtime schedules,we as adults can really enjoy the game in peace. After a long days work and providing for the family it will be a godsend to relax and enjoy with a beer in hand. Thank you Bungie for the awesome release date. I just created a group called The Ancient One. That way when you see your Clan name in game it will read as follows The Ancient One with your gamertag underneath. If interested please join. I would like to get a PS3/PS4 clan up and running if anyone can help. Just send me a PM. Thx

I agree its gonna be nice some real game play will be in store. But dont forget 6 months from now when theyre bored cause they cant figure out the game only the strong will be left. Im 28 but id be down to get a leafue goin so we dont have to deal with the children

Yaknow with the 6 guardian requirement we just learned about. A "Grizzled Veteran" clan might be worth while, how neat would it be to play with proper adults?

Well I'm 40 years old. Definitely an old timer since days of ZX80/81. Both my son and I have PS4 and will be playing Destiny non-stop. Personally I loved the alpha/beta. Luckily I managed to snag the ghost edition here in UK. So see you guys on the darkside of the Moon

i get up at 6.30 most mornings, 5.30 on the ones i got running, so staying up late isnt really something i do that often. having said that the beta did get in the way of my sleep pattern. need to hit the sack around 10 so that i get enough sleep, since thats when the body does most of the repairing.

agree with you 100%, but why do we really have kids playing grown up game?i ll tell you why ! easy some shameless irresponsable parents by to their kids wants to have pieceeand quiet time wile they do wath they have up i am a father when my kids didnt haveo do.do its right on the package 18 years old andup i am a father when my kids wants to have a game and didnt have the age to play that game my kids didnt have that game

I'm a 33 year old mom and I'll definitely be on as soon as possible, however I also have a husband that games and he'll probably be the one on in the late evening. I don't mind gaming with children as long as they don't have screechy voices and scream all the time. Besides, the way Destiny is set up you can only hear those on your own Fire Team. So here's a solution for you: Don't put any children on your Fire Team and then you'll be good to go. :)

If any "older gamers" want to team up for end game raids, PvE, strikes or PvP, add me on PS4. My PSN ID is FONTASTIC911, and I am in the EST zone. 2 RepliesHow about the older gamers who have gone back to college? It doesn't matter much to me anyway. I always play with friends and don't interact much with ransoms. I only befriended two new people in the beta and that's because we had fun playing together non verbally first.

I know what you mean. I was playing cod yesterday and I like the wear my mic, but these kids kept coming on and they just ruined the entire experience 'cause they all kept acting like jackholes. I know it's not all of them but it sure seems like it sometimes.

Just make a party with people whose voices don't sound like nails against a chalk board... I played Destiny for the entire time it was up and the only little kid I heard was my little neighbor... Who was over at my house making a form of communication.

This thread is pointless. You only hear the voices of people you choose to hear. There is no proximity chat or public chat even in crucible. Don't get me wrong I hate kids too, but you don't have to hear any kids on this game ever unless you team up with one.
