Kids simply have more free time. I could only wish I was 5 years younger and back in high school with all the free time in the world. But now I got rent and a full time job. Luckily no kids yet lol so that means I only play games maybe 3-5 hours a day at night depending on what I cook for dinner or just how much time I relax in bed after shower. So let kids do what they want. I don't mind no trade since that opens up ways to exploit more stuff.

  • your maybe the second person with a respectful answer. i think if there isnt going to be any trade they should make the drop mechanic reward skill. as it is right now if you just stand near a battle with out even participating you can get a drop from it, while the person doing the fighting might not.

  • For the part about reward based on skill there are so many factors they would have to consider other wise I see it doing more bad then good. But I think think there should be a prompt to vote kick only inactive people since going afk is annoying in the middle. But with friends sometimes after the devil walker I need to run to the restroom real fast

  • all they would have to factor in would be the more damage you to to a mob the more likely you are to get the drop. if you find other people in the area are using weapons that do more damage then yours and your not getting any drops then move to lower level area where you will. drops aren't based on mob lvl anyway engrams decode at what ever level you are.

  • In that way the guy playing support would get less then the guy up front. With friends if play with we keep it mostly one guy up front special weapon shotgun primary what ever he wants and during waves stays to the left. 2nd guy stay a bit back behind him with shotgun or sniper. And keeps mobs to the right to take care of. Also in charge of reviving guy one. 3rd guy in my team of friends stays farther back mainly using scout and sniper. Taking out the sniper fallen and supporting both sides. In charge of reviving guy 2 or if both die too survive until they respawn. If it's based on how my friends and I play together some of use would loose out on rewards if the did it based on only how much damage you put out. Since damage does not equal skill and neither does kill count. Drops based on dmg also means more people just jumping and unloading without any care just to shoot respawn and repeat.

  • most people do just jump out and spray.and how does number of kills not indicate skill? if i go out and get 150 kills and dont die, and the other guy goes out and gets 20 kills and dies 12 times. i should be entitled to more loot. the whole reason destiny is not putting in trade is because they want "loot to reward action" and random drops do not do that.

  • 20 kills 12 deaths???? You could use more reasonable numbers if you want to act so entitled as you have stated you are. Wow and I thought this would at least be a reasonable conversation of some one who might have a almost valid argument but nope... Nope... There goes the little faith I had on people here.

  • look i was able to collect loot from fights without even participating in the battle. as long as you stand close to the fight you have a chance to get loot. and yes 20 kills to 12 deaths may have been a little exaggerated but not by much. there times when i would do a strike with a couple friends and one of them would die about 15 times with only 40 - 50 kills to show for it. and more often then not he got far better drops then i did and drops more often. while my self with over 100 kills and around 2 to three deaths got maybe 2 less then desirable drops. so in my opinion the loot distribution does not reward action as bungie said it should, but rather rewards the lucky.
