did you ever plat diablo 3 when it came out whit AH (auction houses) where you cud sell you items? I did and i didnt play that much because i was trying to buy the items on AH instead i spent hours and hours in there just to get a bit of an upgrade. my friends did the same, a lot of ppl did it.
Q. Why is the auction house system being removed from Diablo III? The gold and real-money auction houses have provided a convenient and secure system for trading, but it's also become increasingly clear that despite the benefits they provide, they ultimately undermine Diablo’s core gameplay. A big part of Diablo is the thrill of battling demons and finding epic loot. While buying epic loot in the auction houses might be more convenient, it doesn't feel anywhere near as heroic as plowing through a pack of fearsome-looking monsters and having them drop that one awesome item that seems like it was made for your character.
why do ppl want to farm glimmer/gold/credit in a game to buy some epic loot it feels like a job same as working in irl 8 hours in a factory then come home do the same thing but just in a game woohoo. it seems that ppl in general are in a rush this days clear the content super fast and then wine when they dont have anything to do in game. in my advise is to take the loot that you get and be satisfied whit it, try it out ore dismantle it, but no trading.

 • I have found most people are just terrible with time management and make excuses as to why they deserve something for little effort. I am quite a busy person with a life but still find/make time to play games with friends. It's easier than most people think.

 • If you find time to play... Then what's the problem again?

 • the fact that the game doesnt actually reward players that deserve it, loot drop is random and you only need to be near the battle for it to drop loot for you, you dont even have to participate. some one can run around and kill everything for you and all you need do is run over the fallen corpses to get the drops. so why not put in trade?

 • sounds like a bug. I wouldn't be happy with doing all the work to see someone not even in my Fireteam run up and get loot. That's just bad mechanics. Now if someone from another Fireteam participated in said kill then fine. More power to them. But just because you don't get the piece of loot you want from killing something doesn't mean trading is the answer. Sounds more like whining. I did this, but didn't get this. Keep trying like the rest of us. Or quit and play something that rewards the littlest of effort. 20 hours farming and didn't find what you were looking for sounds like 1) You are in the wrong spot or killing the wrong things. 2) You may be exaggerating. 3) Beta

 • 1. not exaggerating you can go check the play time on my warlock for story mode. B. i tested the drop theory, more then once i just walked the battle field watching other people from other fireteams fighting, and as long as i was close enough i did not have to fire a shot to get a drop. III. engrams decrypt at what ever level you are when you decrypt them and the drops are random. so you can get a lvl 8 item engram from a lvl 1 mob. so there are no wrong places to farm. and finally i agree the drop mechanics need work. i actually made a post about it. http://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/67030094

 • its not about farming for glimmer. my method requires item for item of equal value. the reason i think would be good is because of how random the loot is you can play for 20 hours like i did and not get a single one of the item you were looking for but get 200 of the items other people are.
