[i]Before I continue this, I just want to state that this is something I'm not sure that someone else has brought up, nor if it's really something that's worth bringing up. It's just something that both my friends and I are curious about and I might have found "evidence" (and I use that term loosely) that it could be true. [/i] I know that customization is a big part of Destiny, whether it's to change the way your character looks, your gun looks, emblems, ships, Sparrows, etc. However, I was a little confused about whether the Ghost would be able to be customized. It is the companion that will stick with you during the entirety of your time in the game, so why not be able to spice it up a little and give your buddy a new look? In the video that Bungie released that talked about the special editions of Destiny like the Ghost edition, Limited edition, and the Digital Guardian edition, you can see that it offers a unique Ghost skin that's distinctly different from the default one. It was mentioned "So everybody else will get a white one, you'll get this red one." I'm not sure if this could mean that the players who only got the regular edition will be stuck with the white one forever, or that they will just be stuck with it until they find another. (I prefer the latter). In the link I shared, I took a picture of the same video when they were showing off the limited emblem in the character menu, I noticed that by the Ghost's skin slot, there were four other darken squares, which means that there's four other items in that particular slot. This leads me to believe that Ghost will have different skins you can earn. How you can earn them, I don't know. How I hope that you could earn them is if it represents a certain action or deed that you've done. Whether it's from completing a certain raid boss, defeating the campaign, or some other possible event. It would be cool that these new looks could mean something, but just being able to find or purchase new ones would be cool too. Like I said before, I know it's probably not that big of a deal, just something I thought might be interesting. I'm not a Bungie employee so I can't guarantee if it's true or false, and I don't mean to start false rumors. I'm only a fan who likes to discuss what could or couldn't be in the game that I look very much forward to. It could even be pointless for all I know, but if you want to suggest any ideas you may have on my theory, how you could possibly obtain these skins, or even if you want to discuss the different kind of skins you'd like to see in the game for your Ghost companions, feel free to post it on this topic.
