I currently have a ps3 but I want to upgrade to a new gen console and I don't know which, so what do you THE GAMING community have to say? Which is overall better in performance?

I've always preferred xbox. I feel like with Playstation you can pick it up cheap years down the line and not really miss out where as on Xbox if you miss a multiplayer game in it's prime then it's a problem

...Xbox One,Why? My preference and my friends game on it. You should get your preference console.

Objectively the PS4 is better in performance. So if that's all you're looking for PS4 is the console for you.
-
its confirmed ps4 will get better support with destiny
Which is overall better in performance?
The PS4 is the more powerful system if that is what you are asking.

Edited by woodsymoments: 7/28/2014 8:54:56 PMI had a 360 but when i saw what was happening with both sony and microsoft i went back to sony for the PS4 and i havent regretted it one bit but at the end of the day choose the one that you like the looks of the games the most.

What do your friends game on? That's what most of my decision was based on.

Personally, I would go for the PS4. I played 360 for the last generation, but I'm really happy I switched. PSN is derpy sometimes, but it is overall a great platform. Also, this belongs in #Gaming rather than #Help, so I'm gonna move it for you. :)
