You see, here is the thing. I will give a example of what happened to me last night. First off, keep in mind I SUCK at Destiny and that I don't like PVP events, so I was hesitant to touch the Iron Banner. I stay up till 10PM, which is late for me, to take part in the Iron Banner. I play one match, get thrid place in my team. Top player gets awesome hand cannon, I get a crappy piece of armor. I think you need to be top to get cool stuff, and never play Iron Banner again. Now, What I would suggest is this: Have different PERCENTAGES of chance of getting stuff the higher you are: 1st place: 100% 2nd Place: 80% 3rd Place: 60% 4th Place 40% 5th place: 20% 6th Place: 10% Now those numbers are just a example, but it rewards top players AND gives a chance for lesser players to get cool stuff. Still a reason to play for BOTH sides.
